In the numerous trips we've made to Disney, we've never eaten at CP!?!? :confused3 I was trying to make some lunch/breakfast ADR's on the DDP rather than all dinner as my girls hated being pulled away from the pool in the afternoon every day to make it to our dinner reservation.....I figure if we're going mid-August and it's hot, a lunch ADR would be a nice way to cool down before going back to the pool for a swim and then do a leisurely evening....

I've heard lots of reviews for CP breakfast and dinner, but almost nothing on lunch??? How is the lunch??? We have an ADR for 11:50 one day and I was just hoping we wouldn't be disappointed???

TIA! :)

CP lunch is just like the dinner. I have only had lunch there and enjoyed the food and atmosphere a lot. We are having lunch at CP Aug 25 at 11:40 for the very reasons you mentioned - get out of the heat and avoid the mid-day crowd.

Would like to hear reviews on the lunch as well. We've eaten breakfast and it's our favorite, so I'm wondering if lunch is just as good.

LOVE Crystal Palace - best restaurant at the MK in my opinion. We've been three times in the past two years and will return in July. Lunch and dinner are very much the same as far as food choices. The building is gorgeous with all the windows, very bright and airy. Buffet is outstanding - many, many choices, including choices that are appealing to the kids. Lots of salads, fruits, main dishes, meats, pasta, veggies, great desserts. Character interaction is nice, and I'm not even a huge Pooh fan - they come to your tables and do a little parade around the place with the kids.

Go, cool off and enjoy!

Ok - I lied. There are some difference to the menu, but not many. The biggest difference seems to be shrimp at dinner.

The lunch is great. What I can remember are many different types of salads, a carving station, pasta salads and casseroles and kid station. The items that stick out are the Wild Mushroom and Chicken pasta and the bread pudding.

I likes the pasta so much I got the recipe and am planning to make it at home.

On the character front, we got to meet them all at least once if not twice and were not rushed at all. Lunch seems to be real laid back and the service was excellent.

We have only had Lunch at CP. And we enjoy alot. First it is a wonderful way to beat the heat & refresh. And food has always been really good. Things has enjoy at lunch have been some great salads & pork roast.

Hands down this is our absolute favorite meal on property. THe variety is terrific. The food is extremely fresh since it's so busy. ANd the price is a terrific savings over dinner. Book it!!

It took me ten trips to 'discover' CP and liked it a lot. It's not on the list this time, but I'm taking a group of friends all guys near or past 50. They may shoot me for LTT, but what the hey. My dgf and I really enjoyed the characters too, especially Tigger and Eeyore.

We have lunch at CP everytime we go and it is really good food. Wide selection and agree that it is a good way to chill from a hot park as it is nice and cool in CP.:thumbsup2

If you're doing lunch at MK I have to vote for LTT. It's a different menu than dinner and so good!
