While I've been to the World (and the Land) many times throughout my life, this is my first "mega" plan for our July trip. On our last trip 4 years ago I was (not so) blissfully unaware of ADRs etc...and we paid the price ;)

Here is my question: Right now I have ADR at CP for 10:40 on a EMH morning. My thinking is that we can be there for RD, ride until our hearts content, then go to breakfast while the mass crowd is starting to stroll in. But I'm wondering if 10:40 is too early. I thought about doing an 11:30 lunch, but I've heard such great things about their breakfast. So what would you do? Is 2 and 1/2ish hours enough time to take advantage of the lower crowds and still do breakfast. Or is the lunch just as good and go for the hour longer to play?

I think that is the right amount of time to get quite a bit done, and then enjoy breakfast. I much prefer a breakfast buffet to a lunch buffet, and having 2 1/2 hours to ride, should be just about right.

You will get a TON done in those 2 1/2 hours and you will have a wonderful, relaxed breakfast. Plus you will have built up an appetite for that awesome breakfast buffet!

I am actually planning to do exactly that! My adr is for 10:20 on an am emh day.

I'm sorry if this is something that is well known, but I was wondering where you find the EMH so far out? I'm going to Disney for about the 20th time in late September, but it will be our first visit with a little one and thus our first visit with character meals. In the past, we've used ADRs just for dinners, so EMH didn't come into play as much, but I would like to do Crystal Palace on a non-EMH day at MK before rope drop - no way my 2 year old will be able to wait until 10something to eat - and don't know how to find that info. We are going end of Sept/early Oct so it is still too far out for me to do anything, I'm just anxious.

October's should be up in another month.

They are up on the WDW site under park hours.

Fwiw my kids won't wait either. I plan on feeding them a light breakfast before we leave the room. I will likely do this most days since my DS likes to wake up around 5am! Lol
