I've been dieting (aka lifestyle change) since the new year. I've always been a soda/iced tea drinker my whole life, but since being on WW I know I can't do that anymore, so I'm drinking Crystal Lite. Its pretty good, but it has a very bad side effect - it makes my breath smell horrible!! I won't even tell you what my DH said it smells like! I've started putting half the amount into my water bottle, and it seems to be working, but it also doesn't taste very good anymore. I'm just not a water drinker, so I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on another diet drink that I could try.

TIA!
Sarah

I use the 4C products. They have Splenda. The Crystal Light has aspartame that causes really bad headaches. The lemon tea, lemonade, pink lemonade and raspberry tea are the best. They keep coming out with new flavors though so you shouldn't get bored with it.

Here's their website.

Thanks! I'll have to try it once my supply of Crystal Lite is out.... I have 1 1/2 of the large containers left!! Hopefully DH will start drinking it and make it go faster!!

I tried the 4C rasberry iced tea - OMG was it BAD!!! Maybe I can put in half of what your supposed to and it wont be as bad. Otherwise I'm going to have to stick with the Crystal Lite. :sad2:

Sorry you haven't found the right one for you yet. Makes me glad I've learned to drink the water. Took me a while, but I did it.

Good luck finding what works for you. I'm wondering what it will be.

I gave up soda at New Years this year and I am happy to say...I have not gone back. Congratulations on stopping soda. It is not easy! Believe me, I was not the biggest "water lover.":upsidedow

I started buying those little packets that flavor just a bottle of water. So many companies are doing these now. I really like doing these for my water. It helps it go better. :thumbsup2 Some are very subtle, some are kinda strong, but most are SUGAR FREE!! There is even a couple of "iced tea" flavors if you like those.

The best places I found for these packets have been Walgreens, Target, and Big Lots. They usually only run about $1-$3 a box. If you go to the local markets, they usually get too expensive. You can always find the best flavor for you.

Eventually, you will just enjoy water just the way it is. :goodvibes I am still getting there, but I am closer and closer. Some days I forget that I have had all my water and not once did I put a flavor in it. Again, congradulations on giving up soda!!:cool1: You can do it! :cheer2:

I agree on the plain water being on the nasty side. I can't drink soda (or carbonated beverages) due to gastric bypass surgery.
I drink G2. It is a low calorie low suger drink from Gatorade.
It comes in fruit punch, grape & orange. It is delicious.
I water it down because everything I drink taste too sweet for me.
Good luck.

Have you considered using plain lemon juice?? If you add in one teaspoon into a water bottle it truly does give it an extra flavor. They also have crystalized Lemon that you can buy too in packets. But only start with 1/2 the packet until you taste it.

Just an idea..............small world - I am in SJ too :)
