Wow, I am hooked!

Is anyone else watching this?

:thumbsup2 Amazing!!

I'm watching it....very cool show.

YEP!!! DS and I are watching, and are really enjoying it.

DS is now expressing an interest in reading the original book, so that's good too!!

I am watching it now. Did you catch the Applebee's commercial? Wouldn't TGI Friday's have been a better sponsor?

DH and I are watching...well, DH is watching and I am surfing the Dis.

So what was the final verdict? I really liked it!

Dang I missed it!! I've only heard about it on the radio...I haven't actually seen any of the TV promos....but I've wanted to catch it!!
What station and give me a synopsis of Episode 1!!

I tivo'd it so hopefully I will get a chance to watch it this weekend. I am so behind on so many other shows though.

We didn't see the whole thing- but I loved what I saw! My ds 11 liked it too- he was hoping it was on again tonight.

I watched it off my dvr this afternoon. I'll be tuing in again. To the person looking for a recap, there's a detailed one on nbc.com

Quite frankly, I think it is "just okay." I was expecting it to be a lot better. It is visually quite nice, but I'm not really getting that attached to any of the characters. I think the constant flashbacks aren't working as well as they do in LOST, where within a single episode they often weave together and provide a specific, identifiable insight. In Crusoe, it just seemed like they're throwing little bits and pieces out that we'll have to mentally pull back together later. And they're mixing Crusoe flashbacks with Friday flashbacks in the same episode, something which they never do in LOST (and there is a reason for that).

unless I'm mistaken the Fridayflashbacks we saw really were Crusoe flashbacks. But I do know what you mean, on Lost we learn one significant thing that ties into the present storyline from each episode's flasbacks. I think I read that Crusoe is a very limited series, 13 episodes, maybe. So they have less freedom to develop the past to that degree.

I agree.

I probably won't watch it.

Thanks for the reminder!! My 11 year old likes this show!!!!

Mine does too!!! I like that it's something we can watch together. He's already set the reminder on the cable box. :rotfl:

My son was going to go to Fun Night at school until I reminded him that Crusoe is on... We're going to have popcorn and Pirate night!
