Never been on this before but it looks great.

Height restriction is only 107cm but i've read somewhere not recommended for under 7's. 107cm is average 4 or 5 year old size I think.

My DD who just turned 3 is 107cm (very tall for her age). Would it be suitable or a big no no?

I say not as it's a spinning roller coaster.

Best thing to do would be to watch a video on youtube (if one exists) or to stand and watch the outside part to try and judge what you think, or even ride yourself first.

Personally I wouldn't put a three year old on there regardless of height but that is just my opinion.

If she passes the height restriction, then technically theres nothing stopping your daughter going on it. You know her best, do you think she'd enjoy it? Its a spinning fast dark ride, for the most part.

If you've been to Alton Towers, my niece (aged 8) reliably informs me its like the Spinball Whizzer, but in the dark :) .

Didn't think of you tube thanks

As i've never been on, wanted to know what it was like so I could judge. Spinning and dark doesn't sound good for her will pass this time - no doubt we will be back!

No way, would I put a just turned 3 yr old on it !

It's really quite fast and spinny!

youtube isn't going to be a great help for you here - the ride is very dark inside so you'll struggle to get a good idea of what's going on.

But...

If you're famililar with the parks in the UK then the ride is similar to dragons fury at chessington or spinball whizzer at alton towers.

Or...

Try a youtube search for a video of whirlwind at camelot - they're basically the same ride - the only difference is there's an extra fairly tame section at the start of crush's. Apart from that, they are exactly the same layout, car type etc.

My DD rode BTM and ToT in January and she was only 3 years and 2 months old.

I don't know if i would put DD on crush if she's tall enough in September as to me its very spinny and plus i cant hang on to her.

No I don't think a child so young should go on. I still worry about mine on these fast spinny rides and he is now 13. There heads get knocked around so much. Her little head would be rocked about. As you say as well you wouldn't have a spare arm as you will be holding on yourself.

Plenty of time for the big rides.

OMG _ I didn't think it was suitable for a 43 year old :rotfl:

Having finally plucked up the courage to do Space Mountain 2, I would've rathered do that 3 times in a row than Crush once.

my sis and her friend went on every ride there and loved them but crush made them cry lol. my sis said its just spinning around in the dark and not knowing where you were, up or down or what she just was conviced she would fall out into a 100 foot drop lol. she said never again lol

I think the exterior of the ride really appeals to the younger children. My 4 year old was desperate to go on simply because she could see pictures of Nemo and Crush. We took her on and she enjoyed it but she didn't ask to go on again.;) I think it depends on whether you have a dare-devil or a scaredy-cat - but I would err on the side of caution and give it a miss if you have any doubts.

I think im more worried about Kyra falling out the ride then the ride itself.

You see more children coming off this ride crying than any other.
While it does not have inversions the ride harness gives an indication that this is going to be more of a thrill ride than Big Thunder Mountain :)

I think also, the one visible section is very deceptive. People see the bit outside and think it's going to be like that section for the whole ride, which would be ok for tamer people and no worse than Big Thunder Mountain. In reality, however, that section is one of the slowest sections of the entire ride and of course once you realise this, it's far too late to turn back as you've just gone down the first main, dark drop.

.

I am a bit older :rolleyes1 but think Crush is SCARY!!!

I am ok on SM, love RnR coaster, love ToT, BTM etc etc and HATE with all my heart Crush.

So please keep the little one away from it!!!!
