Hi all,

Now, I know the general advice for Crush, to beat the queue, is to get there nice and early first thing in the day.

However, what are the queues like there, say, 1 hour before closing??

It is always a long wait for crush! It took us more than an hour to actually get in to the coaster! Better try early in the morning or maybe during lunch time?

The ride is so good that you instantly forget the long wait.

it really depends on whether you are there at a quiet time of year - the first time my DD did Crush she did it half an hour before the Studios park closed and the queue time said 40 minutes wait, which was accurate. However, this was in early October, midweek.

I queued for 25 mins during the parade (2:30).

Parades always empty queues a bit. Also if you are staying more than one or two days, don't fret it. Just take a good book with you and read it out. The parks aren't that big in the end and you will make it all, no stress.

Our family usually hits the parks in January or before mid February. Mostly nonexistent or tolerable waiting times.

does DLP allow you to queue right until closing time? like at WDW if park closes at 9pm; you basically have until 8:59pm to get in line ... hoping this was the same at DLP

In my experience they try to close the lines about 5 minutes before closing but if you point out the time to them they'll still let you in until closing!

We got on crush with a less than 10 minute after doing this in February!
