We have planned this trip for 2 years now. I have told our girls if the crowds are too large we might not go WWoHP. I already know at 6' 2" 265 lbs. I won't be riding Forbidden Journey (I am doing the cue). I keep looking but have not head anything about crowds. Could someone clue me in? We want to go so bad but paying big bucks to stand in line in Florida's summer sun doesn't sound like fun. Help!

We went during opening week and the crowds were bad, if you are staying onsite then use the early morning hour to see the castle and do Olivanders. Also, go late at night since the crowds are low and the stores seem to be staying open after close to let people in. We saw all the shops at 10pm one night after we ate at the 3 broomsticks.

I know there is a thread on the crowds but haven't checked to see if things are getting better yet.

Thanks, I'm almost hoping for a rainy day to keep us cool and the crowds down. I'll keep looking for the crowd report, if you spot it send me a link.

Don't give up on getting on yet either. I thought the same way, but got on. It sounds like I'm more stout than you at 5'10 245" and I had no trouble with the harness. Plus don't use the main entrance seat as your guide there is another one further on in the cue. I had a harder time fitting in to Dragon Challenge and Hulk than FJ, particularly Hulk. So if you have fit on either of those you got a shot.

Plus I echo the other comment the crowds after 7:30ish were pretty manageable. I had a hit and miss on early entrance. Thursday was really busy even at 8am, but Saturday i got everything I wanted to get done in less than an hour.

When are you planning on going? If you wait to say, the end of August, I don't think you should have too much trouble with lines. I think a lot of it is PLANNING-- get to the parks a half hour to an hour before they open, leaving the parks midday for pooltime/relaxing, and coming back in the evening to enjoy short lines. Are you planning on staying onsite? That is incredibly helpful, but I've also heard of people having a great time staying off-site, too.
P.S. Go RI! I went to PC and URI for college!
