OK, I am going to have a break down this weekend. I know I will. :rotfl2:

We leave next Wednesday morning for our cruise on Thursday. The only thing I have packed are a few odds and ends I have been throwing in my carryon for months. I am not even sure anymore what is in that bag. :rotfl2:

I haven't a clue what I have to do still. My life is just too dang full. Between work, school and ball I have no time. My schedule for this weekend is booked. Tongiht, DS has football practice. Saturday, Football practice, pedicure, need to go to Curves, two baseball games. Sunday at least two baseball games. I have no idea how I am going to do it? I am at the point that I do not even know where to start. I think I am brain dead. I can see it now my worse nightmare will happen and I will forget the cruise packet and or the ids/BC's. Wonder if I will remember the luggage?

Slow down and breath. You will find the time. If you have to throw the clothes in to baskets. Take it to all the practices and pack in the car. That's free time that you can use.Good luck!

Your not alone, I remember hearing my DH say, your still up!?, as I was packing and cleaning late in the night. Don't worry, make sure you have your kids help you pack b/c its their vacation too! :teeth: Can DH or a friend take your son to his games on Sun.?

I will volunteer to carry all your clothes and go as your suitcase. I think that may help a little.

I plan on packing until midnight Tuesday night (Weds am.) and Checking in for our flight shortly after midnight, printing our boarding passes and then hitting the sack at about 1 am. Up at 6 am to get kids to school then leave for BWI after school. Big thing is pray for no traffic problems Tues afternoon on the way to BWI. Traffic is horrible around Baltimore.

Oh, as you do your laundry the next few days put what you need in the suitcase instead of your closet/drawers. That is my plan.

See ya in 6 days :cool1:

Are you a list person? I am, so I'd suggest making lists. Keep a notebook with you in your purse and when you are waiting in the car for your kids, or any other free moment, make a list of the things you want to pack. I used to STREES out big time before any trip about packing and forgetting things. Now I make lists. In fact, I've already started my "things to pack" list using all the tips I've got from this board

Then the packing should go much quicker if you just look at your list and grab what's on it.

Relax and have fun!

I am in the same boat (OK, not really Magic on Saturday). I have so much to do still and suddenly everyone needs us to be here, there and everywhere else. And I don't know what my boss' problem is. She still expects me to work. :confused3 Doesn't she understand I'm going on vacation. :rotfl2:

While there is still lots to do, I have already put the Cruise Docs and ID in the bag. I may not have undergarments but I will have DOCS :rotfl2:

Try to relax and have a great vacation

My kids are not going on this trip. I think it would be easier if they were. :rotfl2: Dh coaches the team so he has to be at the games. I am vetoing the games tomorrow.

You are more than welcome to do this. Just fly into GSO tonight and take a taxi to Midway. I will pm you the address. :rotfl2:

I second that! I am a list girl and a little notebook girl. I save all my old little notebooks in a drawer. I also save all my old lists (just vacation packing lists!) and I refer back to them after I make a new list to see if I've missed anything.
Every vacation we take, no matter how long/short, I always stay up late after everyone has gone to sleep the night before we leave to complete my packing, especially toiletries, underwear, shoes.....I find it hard to get Everything packed unless it is the night before. I also liked the idea of bringing your clean laundry with you to the games and folding it there.
Hey, you're a mom, you can do Anything!!! Have Fun!

I have my avrious lists and I still have quite a bit to pack. My DH is out of town on business and will not be back until later tongiht. I have a nasty cold. Ihope nothing else major goes wrong.
