I just went to Crumbl Cookie for the first time on Saturday in Nashua NH. If you are unfamiliar it is a cookie chain that sells big delicious cookies. The flavors change weekly (I think) and the prices are fairly resonable. 4.00 each 4 for 12, 6 for 18 and 12 for 32. Four or five of the cookies are themed and CC is always available.

I was comparing them to Gideon's and frankly I liked them better. They are not as sweet and even though they do not weight half a pound they are still quite substantial. Best part is you only have to wait in line maybe 15 minutes.

They seem to have locations all over the country and in the Northeast I think they have opened like at least 10 new locations.

Anyone else try them? The only downside is the fact that with Gideon's so far away I might splurge on them once a year; with the fact that CC is so available, it scares me because I can have unlimited access which is NOT a good thing for my waistline.

Just

Haven't been to Gideon's. but we really like Crimbl
We usually get 3 or 4 and cut them in quarters and share for our family of 6 (7th can't eat them....they don't have gluten free)

We LOVE Crumbl--I went to Gideon's for the first time after having Crumbl and wasn't blown away

I never heard of Crumbl before but looked it up and see there is a location 15 minutes away from me. I'll have to try it since although I do like Gideon's and get cookies there every few months, I don't think it's worth the time it takes to get them either by waiting in a 30+ minute line or having to get a return time for hours later and then wait in another line.

Haven't tried Gideons, but there are some Crumbl cookies in our house on a weekly basis. DW loves them, I think they are just average(and too expensive for something that's "average.")

We have a Cumbl that recently opened here and everyone is so into them, but I honestly thought it was completely overrated. The cookies are cakey and oily too - not that it was terrible but I didn't think they were worth the effort to get nor the calories/unhealthyness of them. The grease it left on my napkin was horrifying!

I loved my cookie form Gideons. I thought they were great and kept well too - I ate on it thorughout my trip. They are more doughy, just that right amount of underdone. I am sure they are just as unhealthy as a Cumbl, but to me they are more worth it. They are not however worth a 6 hour wait, which is why I couldn't get one on my last trip. Still, I'll take Giedoen's every time!

Never heard of Gideon's, but supposedly, we just got a Crumbl store or two in our area. My younger son just got them with his girlfriend the other day and he said they were really good. My older son is more of a Insomnia Cookie fan, but that's because there was a store that delivered to his campus that they used to order from all the time.

Insomnia cookies are pretty good - better than Crumbl in my opinion.

I haven't tried either of them, but I like my own chocolate chip cookies best. I like them crunchy and a bit caramelized around the edges, not at all soft or chewy.

I was just thinking about Crumbl vs. Gideon's the other day. I like Crumbl better. Gideons was a big ball with way too many chocolate chips IMO. It was something that has so much hype you have to at least try it once.

Haven't had Gideon's but love Crumbl. My daughter is addicted to them so she often brings some home. My favorite so far is the PB & J.

I am not familiar with Gideon’s, but I had heard a lot about Crumbl and, when they opened one nearby, I was eager to try one. I thought the cookie was fine, but I don’t think it lived up to the hype. I guess it’s a good thing that I didn’t love them, because I shouldn’t be eating them anyway. 😁

Yeah, I'm not sure anybody should be eating them. 😉 From Crumbl's Website, a Chocolate Chip Cookie has 110 calories - not bad until you realize that there are 5.5 servings in ONE COOKIE! Who eats less than one-fifth of a cookie? Gideon's Bakehouse does not publish nutrition information, however thier website states that they do not have it broken down but, "The good about our Cookies and Cakes, we don’t use a lot of sugar. The not as good? We use a lot of butter! Please think of each Cookie as four servings and Cookie responsibly." One estimate from a third party I saw was 400 calories per serving, but I don't know if that is per cookie or per one-fourth cookie. In fairness to Gideon's, it was so dense that I did only eat a littl eat a time.

So, cookie dough is around 100-150 calories per ounce, give or take. Gideon's cookies are 8 oz, so at the low end, you're talking 800 cal per cookie, but it's laughable how Gideons says they don't use much sugar, yet their cookies are absolutely ROLLED in chips, candies, etc. I can easily see how a Gideons cookie can top out at 1600 cal.

That grease on your napkin is high quality butter.

And it's the sign of a great cookie, in my opinion.

Just saw there is a Crumbl 5 miles away. Gonna have to try it.

Totally googled Crumbl in my area and found 2 close-ish! Just placed my order and waiting for them to be brought out. Thanks, I needed this find today 😊

Tried Gideons before Crumbl...and like Crumbl more. The Oatmeal is delicious.

I haven’t heard of Gideon’s. I’ve have Crumbl a few times. They’re just ok to me, they have unique flavors but I don’t think they are particularly delicious. I think their commercials make their cookies look better than they actually are 🤣

Gideon's is a lot smaller - I think only two locations in Orlando. One is at Disney Springs though so it gained notoriety. It is notable for a heavily themed interior that is dark and macabre.
