You can get a Visa TravelMoney card from AAA. If you are a member of AAA the fee is 5.95 or if not a member the fee is 9.95. If you live near a Kroger store and you are a member of their loyalty program you could get a Visa gift card and I think you get double the points for gift cards right now to go towards your gas points, that offsets the fee for a Visa gift card by a little bit.
I have actually just gone to guest services a put cash down on my onboard account. If you don't use it all you can go to guest services the last night of the cruise and have it refunded.
