Hi everyone! My husband and I went on the East Carribean Cruise last year. Everything was terrrific. This coming january, we are going back, but this time, it's going to be for the "West Carribean" Cruise ( 7days). Does someone knows about the evening shows? Are they different from last year? From the "eastern" cruise vs "western" cruise ?
Please don't tell me too many details but the themes/titles of the shows, activities, etc that are different would be appreciated...

Also, what are the best shore excursions, including snorkeling, ( money and quality wise )?

:-)

Two sites to get information from are:
http://www.castawayclub.com/ and
http://www.dcltribute.com/
They have NAVIGATORS from various cruises, etc.

The former is maintained by BARB and TONY and the latter by DAVE OF MARIETTA. All of them are active on this BOARD.

We were on the Western MAGIC cruise October 26-November 2. We had a wonderful time. :)

We enjoyed theater shows we had seen before like HERCULES and DISNEY DREAMS. :)
We enjoyed shows that were new like the Variety Shows, MORTY THE MAGICIAN and WHO WANTS TO BE A MOUSEKETEER. :)
We missed shows we had seen before like VOYAGE OF THE GHOST SHIP. :)
All the shows have different styles and we loved them all. :)

We snorkeled every chance we got. :Pinkbounc
We did the Disney excursion in Key West and it was our third with FURY CATAMARAN. They are great.
In Grand Cayman we did a Disney excursion called SHIPWRECK AND REEF SNORKEL. Enjoyed it too except for the couple who was finding fault with everything on the MAGIC and that is another story.
In Cozumel we got a taxi to CHAUKANAAB PARK and used our own snorkeling equipment. Again a great outing.
AND
CASTAWAY CAY--our own snorkeling equipment--Disney wants you to have a vest but there is no charge of you have your own equipment. We don't need vests to float well--we are padded--so we squeezed the air out and wore them so everyone would be happy. We saw wonderful things in the Snorkeling area and at the adult beach.

Have a great time! :Pinkbounc

We'll be sailing with you on Jan 18th! We've planned our excursion based on advice from here - Thanks everyone!
Our plan is to do Key West on our own (probably a trolley tour). We've scheduled a Stingray city snorkel with NativeWay tours for Grand Cayman, maybe a taxi ride to 7 mile beach afterwards. In Cozumel we'll take a cab to Chaakanaab Park in the AM, then shopping in the PM.
