Cruising on the Wonder Jan.29, 09

I agree too! That's the best thing about the cruise - being totally disconnected from everything!

ohh spa treatments..... i cant wait to hear about them!
Hey all! I just got my passporter in the mail yesterday!!!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

anyone else mad we are missing out on the cruise in Feb - bouce back promo!!! Ugg!!! I wana cruise for $99!!! I would totaly change my plans if I could!

Yes, Happy Halloween!

Yeah, that bounce back thing really has me trying to figure how to take advantage of it, but I don't think it will end up working out for us unfortunately

On the spa, the only thing we have tried is the exotic rasul. I booked a massage for my DH this time around. Once on the ship, you may want to take a look at their onboard specials - they seem to be good deals.

I was thinking about the bounce back thing and it wouldn't really be the best thing for us... My DH is a union electrician and it's really not a good idea to take time off work in the fall. You don't really want to give them an excuse to lay you off first.
His company did it's third round of lay-offs today... seems like he's working at least one more week. :thumbsup2 The first set was at the end of the summer!!!
All I know is I'm not cancelling this cruise!!! Good thing he doesn't know about it :rolleyes1
Plus we are almost to the point of no return!! :rotfl2:
Did anyone book anything today? I think we are at the 90 day mark today... right?
I'll be makeing our final payment next Friday when I get my paycheck.

Its getting close. :)
I made my final payment a few days ago. Whoo hoo! . Its real now. :)

I was thinking about reserving a spa treatment , but I think I will wait and shoot for a on board special.

Meanwhile I'm sitting here sick. Yuck. Phneumonia is not a fun way to spend Halloween. :(

We booked a Palo dinner with my parents and the sting rays on CC. And I registered the kids for the clubs - it's definitely starting to feel real now! :woohoo:

I can't believe you've been able to keep this from him for so long- that is so cool!

Guitardiva, hope you are feeling better soon! :goodvibes

I just checked SW and I found out that both of our flights are now only $68!!! That means I now have a $249 SW credit!!!! :cool1:

Hello all! Been lurking for months, paid final balance on Wednesday, and just thought I'd say Hi. This will be our third Disney cruise, the other two were special charters of the entire ship by my husband's employer, so this is almost like our first "real" one. I've been keeping it a secret from my DS(17) and DN(17), it has been difficult! But not as hard as it would be keeping it from DH - Don't know how you've managed that one Nat!!!

WAIT A SECOND!!!!!!
Did you say that they paid for the WHOLE ship????? :worship: Wow!!!! How can I get a job?

Welcome coasterfiend! :)

Nat, that's great on your airfare!! My parents' flight went down too so they also saved some $ :yay:

They did book the whole ship, but we were allowed to upgrade for a small fee. It was worth it both times! :cool1:

My son loved Aloft which is why I booked this cruise before he turns 18 so that he could experience it again. It will be different though because the ship will be much closer to capacity and I think they did some special events tied to the company on the other sailings. That plus he is almost 18 so he's not quite the same as when he was 15 :scared1: So I'm a little worried about the "events" he may find to participate in this time based on some of the other threads I've read recently.

Thanks Samily!!

I hear ya. Its scary times. Hubby's job has been slower then normal so its been tight. He tells me though "We have been paying on this trip all year..we are going. "

You got a great price on your airfare. Good deal. We are driving in. At the time we decided, airfare was ridiculous. DH is glad becaue he hates flying.
