Cruising on points

It has been posted that the points for some of the fall curises have been reduced and there is an onboard cash credit. Does anyone know if this is just the fall timeframe, or will there be an overall reduction in the points required for a cruise in 2003 (especially the value season)???

I expect it is just for the fall. DCL has offered this reduction for the past 3 years. It has only been for Fall till now.

I am unaware on any points charts, But I wish DVC would get the charts out in a more timely manner, we could already be booking at the 11 month window for Jan 2003, but we have no idea what the points will be. I don't trust just using the 2002 points as a guideline. Many were burned with the new 2002 DC collection points .

I would not want a similiar experience with the cruise points.
