cruising in July...should I book summer of 2019 on board?

I am looking at the madness today and really don't want to sit on the phone for a long time (plus not sure which cruise I want, except one of the double-dips). I'm thinking of waiting until July and booking one then so I can get the OBB. I know that no one knows this for sure, but will the prices go up more than 10% in the next 4 months which would make this a futile gesture? Would the 5E cabins be gone at that point?

They could easily go up at least that amount.

And yes. There is a good possibility that the 5Es would be gone - or at the very least in a GTY category where you may be upgraded to a higher category.

Once bookings open for everyone, you can do it online yourself without waiting on the phone.

Cruise I’m looking at, Fantasy Southern, Jan 27th, 2019 was $4226, 2 adults, on January 2nd and today is $4702. That’s more than 10 per cent. Our cruise is in April, so waiting for onboard won’t necessarily work even factoring in the credit. Who knows what it will be by then.

However, the April 27 and May 11, 2019 Fantasy Western haven’t changed price since Nov 19th.
