Cruising in April

We have a cruise booked for April 2nd on the Fantasy. Would love some feedback on what the weather is like during that time of year. We have cruised in the summer when it was hot. Also cruised in Nov and Dec the last two years and it was much cooler. Still able to wear shorts in the day time but the weather at Castaway Cay was very cool and we didn't get in the water. I was just wondering what to expect in April.

Note: 70 degree water is cool for us. I know that is warm for some folks!

We have cruised the first week in April (Western) and loved the temperature. It was warm outside I am thinking mainly in the 80's and the water was warm too, even at Castaway Cay. The best part, not much humidity at all. Perfect time. We will be cruising again this year April 3rd on the Magic. Perfect cruising month weather wise IMO.

Our first cruise was in April. I found the water as Cataway Cay much chillier than the blue lagoon beach we went to at the Bahamas on the same trip. I assume that was because the blue lagoon was shallower?? But it was still swimmable. I thought overall the weather was gorgeous.
