We are going on our first cruise on May 4th and I wanted to ask a few more questions.

1. Are you definately allowed to bring on beverages? I thought I read somewhere that Disney doesn't allow that. I don't want to get "busted". We thought about bring on a couple of beers and cokes.

2. How should we go about tipping? Leave the money on the table after each meal or give it all at the end?

3. What can I order from Room service for free? I remember reading something about a cheese tray and lemonade.

4. Is there a fight for beach chairs on Castaway Cay? Is it best to get off the ship asap there or wait?

5. I've read something about Lanyards (sp?). What are those for and where can I find one?

6. How often do they have the "Match your Mate" and " Dueling Piano Guys" on the 4 night? Every night?

7. Does anyone have any recent 4 night Navigators that I could see a copy of?

Thanks so much for your help. I just want to make sure I get the most out of our trip.

First take a look at Barb's website she has navigators posted there www.castawayclub.com

Yes you can bring beverages no problem there

you tip at the end of the cruise, your documents will have the suggested amounts

room service menu is on Barbs site, lemonade punch water, coffee hotchoc. tea at the beverage station deck nine for free

chairs do get taken up fairly quick but we have always got one we liked - we get off around ten or so

lanyards are for two purposes, some use them for pins (the pin traders) others to just hold the key to the world card, they are sold in the gift shop

check the navigators for the match your mate I think it is one night, dueling pianos I believe is nightly

I can answer some of your questions.

1. You are definately allowed to bring beverages onboard. I have done it several times in plain site with no problems.

2. Tipping is done on the last night of the cruise. You will be provided with envelopes that you can either leave cash in or charge your tips at Guest Service and they will give you vouchers to put in your envelopes. If you are not at dinner on the last night you can give your servers their envelopes at breakast on the morning you leave. Do not leave the tip after each meal.

3. Basically everything from room service is free except sodas and booze beverages. I once had a charge for lemondade but it was a mistake and taken care of. It is customary to tip $1 or $2 bucks each time a delivery to your room is made. This is separate from your regular servers so that is why you would tip each time.

4. Generally, there are seats for everyone. The closer chairs go faster, but if you walk a bit down the beach you should have no problem. I do suggest going to the beach before 10:00 am to get best locations.

5. Some people like to carry their KTTW cards in a lanyard around their neck. You can purchase them onboard for about $6.00 each with a DCL logo or here is a link to the ones you can find at Walmart for $.97.

6. Since the 7 day only has Match your Mate once, I would assume that the 4 day only has it once as well. I am not sure about Dueling Pianos.

7. Check out these two sites for 4-day navigators

Hope this helps.

You guys answered my questions perfectly!
Thanks!

I just looked and our 4-days for the day-at-sea are from Nov. 02 and Dave's are from Apr 02. Anyone wanting to help out with more recent ones please send an email.

We were on the magic in Feb. and we tried to order lemonade from room service and they said they had to charge for it, so we didn't get it, and went up to the drink staion instead. I was trying to order it with a food order. I don't know if this is new or not.
