I'm part of a party of ten, Mom (Grandma), Elder Sister (me) my Husband (42), and our daughter 16; My Brother (39), and his wife (??), My sister (??), her husband(40), and daughters 12 and 9.
This will be the first cruise for my husband and daughter, the rest of us were on the Magic in April 2001. We're really praying that my husband will be able to come (see thread "1st strike on Iraq...any annoucements/changes onboard??" for details).
My sister-in-law, Nancy and I are scrapbookers (she's the expert, I'm a novice). For Christmas she bought the nieces some supplies. Since the girls, ages 9 to 16 are too old for the bunny, we are making Goodie Easter Sacks (No baskets) with some scrapbooking supplies, journals, stickers, gel pens and foam picture frames with some Easter related foam stickers.
(We love Michaels and Pat Catans for craft supplies)
We are still debating what to get Mom, (we are spending our inheritance early)
Does anyone know what is planned for Easter Sunday mass? According to the
DCL web page they have a priest for Easter and Christmas, and a Rabbi for Passover.
Mom and younger Sis and family are in a Cat 3 room, Brother and I are in Cat 4 rooms nearby. needless to say, the Cat 3 is our family HQ for the week.
Daughter plans to at least check-out Common Grounds. On my last cruise I met a couple teens that "actually were enjoying it."
All the girls live for pool and beach time, and swim like dolphins.
Mom, Nancy and I are planning on reading time, the guys on nap time and my sister, I think she'll live at the Spa.
Less than a month!
