Cruisin' June 24, 2007 -- Wonder

We did a 4 night back in 6/04, but then only a 7 night since then so I have a couple of questions. First, I didn't realize that they had Palo brunch. Is this only on the sea day like on the 7 nights? And is there a character breakfast too? I really liked Palo brunch on the 7 night, but when we did the 4 night almost 3 years ago it wasn't available, nor did they have a character breakfast. Monday is when we can book this stuff right?

We just booked our flights last week and my in-laws decided to definitely join us and booked their flights too. So it's all seeming closer now.

Yes -- Palo does have brunch, but only on the sea day. That was all they offered when I booked. My passporter says there isn't a character breakfast on the 3 or 4 night cruises.

It does seem much closer now! I need to get more organized and to start making more checklists.

Anyone up for a game of "Name That Tune"?

Sun tanned toes ticklin the sand
Cold drink chillin in my right hand
Watchin you sleep in the evening light
Restin up for a long, long night

Can you name that tune in 4 lines?? :cool1:

Ooo Ooo I know I know, but I guess I shouldn't give away the answer.

So where is everyone? We are watching a cruise do's and don'ts show at the moment and getting really excited for our cruise!

Has everyone here crusied Disney before? Other lines? Let's play what are some of your favorite things?

I'll start...
Disney Dreams

Love that song -- Kenny Chesney -- When the Sun Goes Down. Didn't even have to google it.

Time can't go by fast enough so we can live those lyrics!

Going over that last hill and catching sight of HER.

Walking through the "EARS," THE picture, and walking on the gangway to be announced... :)

Wow, my favorite thing about the Disney Cruise??? That is like asking me to pick which of my children is "my favorite"

But for today, I will say lying on the deck above the Goofy pool (or adult pool) and hearing the Disney tunes playing while I soak up the sun and read some wonderful trashy novel I don't get a chance to read at any other time! :goodvibes

And I agree marci ... time is passing too slowly and I can't wait for this cruise!!! :hourglass

Ugggg .....
Can't book things on-line until you are paid in full and we aren't paid off yet ... Did anyone book anything today???

Yay!! Page 4 :cool1

Now we are rockin!! Well not quite yet, but gotta start somewhere.

We pulled out some old tapes and found one from our first Disney cruise. It was a 3 day Wonder and I have tape of "Going over that last hill and catching sight of HER." :wizard: What a wonderful site!! Our kids seemed sooo young back then and that was only 5 years ago.

I booked Palo and the Stingray excursion on CC. I'm still undecided if we will go to Palo, but we loved seeing the stingrays at CC so we will definitely do that.

True- that will probably be a long time though:sad2:

AAAHAHHH .... just wait until that re-booking bug hits you while on board! :)

I've been meaning to ask -- are you in WDW/Wonder for honeymoon only, or are you also getting married in WDW?

yeah, but..........

new car+saving for house+starting family=no big vacations for a couple of years:wizard:

just the honeymoon- future DW comes from a big Portugues family (we are having a 350 person wedding:scared1: )

YAY!!! :woohoo:

DH got us booked for brunch at Palo!! I am so excited! Dinner was nice but I loved brunch there and was really really hoping we'd get a chance to go again.

We booked dinner and brunch on Monday. And our Flounder's times. And the best news for us is that we found out while booking that if we say our daughter is not potty trained on the DCL website that we can book her into Flounder's!!

The reason this is so great is that on our cruise last month she was days shy of her 3rd birthday, so we did the trial at the Oceaneers Club, and she hated it, cried for me the whole time till she found me (I had to hide in the back), but she loved going to Flounder's with her brother. They had told us at Flounder's that they'd still take our daughter at 3 years, 4 months on this June cruise, but that we'd have to book onboard, which I was not looking forward to, so this made my life so much easier.

Ragnrok - We stayed at the GF and did a 4 night Wonder cruise for our honeymoon in June 2004. It was a great trip so I know you'll have a great time too!

Thank you!

I never even thought of brunch at Palo's. Can you book 2 meals at Palo? Say dinner one night and brunch on another?
