Mary it feels so strange!!!! All day I felt my teeth with my tonge. I got my retaners at 5:30 today and they hurt so much, but it is worth it. My teeth are so pretty. It didn't take a long time to take the braces off, but it took a long time to take off the glue and clean my teeth. It hurt when they had to take the glue off by my gums.

Ciara thats great the you got your contacts! I always so nuts when I see people putting contacts in, because it looks like it hurts so much. Ciara does it hurt to have them in?

ya i couldnt get over eatin w/ out braces for the longest time!!! i didnt have to get my retainers the same day i got my braces off i got them a week later. has a bunch of people noticed yet? everyone will be saying your teeth look so good!!!

Thanks everybody for the congrats. I am still having a lil trouble putting them in but takiing them out has become easier. No it doesnt hurt at all. If it wasnt for being able to see so clearly i wouldnt even relize they were in. Even puttin them in doesnt hurt. It feels a lil cold at first from the solution but once there in i can hardly tell there in. In fact I am so used to pushing my glasses up on my nose that evey so often i hit y self in the nose. lol

casey (my brother) knocked his front 2 baby teeth out today when another lil boys head hit him in the teeth! ya,so looks like the tooth fairs is doin over time tonight

Hi Gang! Heidi's Mom here. Just popped in to see what you were up to, and to help you "catch up" to the grownups!

I keep telling Heidi she needs to start posting here, but I think she's been really busy with school lately.

Tonite she's baking Snickerdoodles and boy! Do they smell delicious!!!

Congrats, Ciara, on the contact lenses. I wore lenses for about 20 years. You do get to the point that you don't even feel them. Take care of them, though. And keep saline solution with you. You don't want to start developing any bad habits.

Congrats also to Kylie on your beautiful smile! I'm sure it was a long time coming, but isn't it worth it? Heidi's older sister had braces & I still remember the day she got them off. I couldn't believe how nice she looked. And I can tell already how nicely Heidi's teeth are straightening. She's got just under 2 years to go, though.

HI Ms. Zapp!!!!!!!!! I had to learn the hard way about the solution. I am one of the managers for our boys' basketball team and we had a game on Fri. NEwayz my contact feel out and I didnt have my solution (it was on the bus) so I had to watch the whole 8th grade game with one eye. It was horrible.

Congrats on the spelling bee Eylse. If I forgot, Congrats on the brace free mouth.
