cruisers over July 4th! FAVOR!

Will those of you cruising on the Magic over July 4th this year please let me know what things went on when you get back?! Like fireworks, anything special etc.......!?
Will will be on the ship over the 4th of July next year and would love to know what they did to celebrate!

We have been on two cruises (Wonder July 4 - 7, 2002 & Magic June 28 - July 5, 2003) and there were no fireworks for either. We were on Castaway Cay 07/04/03 and there wasn't anything particularly patriotic going on that day on the island which kind of surprised us.

I have been told that they used to shoot fireworks from the stack that isn't used by the ship, but stopped doing that for safety reasons.

The dinner onboard the ship had a patriotic theme which was nice and the servers paraded around the dining room with large flags like color guard each representing their own home country. That was fun too.
