I just looked at the www.cruisequick.com website to ask a question about a cruise on another line and the front page now ists Disney as one of the lines they sell. This place is repeatd mentioned on cruisecritic.com for their great service and especially for their great rates. Hope someone else can get a super discount with them!

Wow, that is interesting. I have booked two cruises through them and the service was wonderful and the prices even better. Their quotes were hundreds less than everyone elses. I was disappointed when they did not sell Disney when I booked my 2005 prices.

I would be interested to find out how their prices compare.

I have a current reassie for Royal Caribbean and the prices were so good I came here to tell everyone, but a week ago, Disney wasn't on their list. Today, it is, so good for everyone here planning to book a trip. This place is phenominal on pricing. They beat other quotes by close to $900! And, if by chance you have your booking with Disney, they can do take overs.

I just went and checked and Disney no longer seems to be on their list.
We booked our cruise with Disney directly, but since learning that it might be cheaper to have another TA take over our ressies, we've been trying to look into that. But it's been a devil of a time trying to find out who or how. Dreams Unlimited doesn't post a phone number to call, and www.micdan.com we've called twice and gotten nothing but a message and have never called us back.

Disney is still listed on the list to use their "online booking engine" which is a new feature. I used their "get a quote" feature, which used to be the only way to check the price. I hope their online engine gives the same great discounts. Try again!

Call Dana @ cruiseplanners 1-800-385-8233 she is the best. You will not regret it. She is part of micdan. Do a search and you will see many happy customers!

That is in fact the number we have been calling. Three calls in three days, (one at 11 a.m our time, one at 3 p.m. our time, and one at 6 p.m. our time, all well within the times they list as being open) not a single live answer, left three messages, no call back.
That is not what I call good service.

I did the whole thing by email, never had to speak to anyone on the phone, and kept the stateroom and early booking discount I got directly from DCL. But also got the $100 applicable rebate from DU. The email responses and communication has been great, and when I called DCL directly to add an in-room bon voyage package (DS loved the chocolate dipped strawberries and petit fours last time, and DW and I enjoyed the bubbly) they found my ressie easily and it was not a problem.

I'm another one that never got a reply from micdan. I called on two different days and left a detailed message, but didn't receive a follow-up call. That is bad business practice in my book, so they've been crossed off my list. So that leaves me open to other suggestions. We went with DU for our 5/27/2006 cruise, and it's been 'smooth sailing' so far.

I have though used cruisequick before and they were awesome. I'm so glad to hear they are quoting disney now!

Footnote, fyi you are not alone in your experience with that TA.

I posted about this earlier today, but will go into more detail now. I called and left a message in October. Then I emailed a detailed message. Two weeks later I got a reply email saying she would get back to me. Never did. I emailed again. She replied and asked me a question even though in my previous email (which she quoted in her reply to me) I had answered the question clear as day. She said she'd get me an updated quote. Never heard from her.

It's been two months now. If you are going to have a website, you need to check and RESPOND to email and return calls.

Who is micdan? I'm looking into transfering our reservation to a TA and it sounds like I should stay away from this one. Thanks!

In defense of Dana...I personally talked to her and she is the nicest person I have ever met. I too called and left a message and she didn't get it. I posted on the thread that I didn't get a call back. She read it on the boards and gave me her e mail address. I emailed her and she called right back. She was so aplogetic. This was a few months back...I'm not sure if things have changed since then. Anyway Micdan.com is an online cruise travel agent. There's a thread on her wonderful service. So I hope Dana reads this thread and will fix the problem that's keeping her from contacting all of you. I woudl be frustrated too if I got service like that....but from what I got from her she's not like that.

We used Dana for our Carnival cruise we are taking in January. We Love working with her.We have always had our calls returned from her.

Another in defense of Dana here, I dont know what is going on that she is not getting her messages, but she has always gotten back to me in prompt time, and has always gotten me the lowest rates. I am sorry that some of you have had problems reaching her, and believe me when I say that is not the kind of service she provides. Hopefully she will read this message and fix whatever the problem may be.

We feel so much better now. We did finally get a hold of Dana. Apparently, she had been gone at a Travel Agent Convention! One phone call lasting approx. 10 minutes and we had our exact same reservations at about a 10% less than our original cost. She was very pleasant and apologetic. So we're much happier with her, though would suggest she put that sort of thing on her voice mail in the future! We're suggesting her to all our friends now.

I'm glad you got to talk to her. Now you know first hand what we mean about how nice she is. I hope to one day be able to actully book with her. My fault I called her too late to transfer my ressie. She did all she could to help me.

I used cruisequick for my upcoming RC cruise. At the time I booked (11 months prior to cruise), I saved around $500 from RC's price. Right now there are no balcony cabins, but they occasionally pop up. Last week one did and it was $1500 more than what I paid! Whew! So far cruisequick has been great! I have a cruise booked next sept through DU, but I might find out CQ's price for comparison.

I just ckd and CQ's price for my disney cruise next sept is $75 higher than DU's price. Of course, I booked back in august, so who know what CQ's price would have been then.

I just went on the cruisequick website to see what kind of rates they had. I am planning on taking the 3 land/4 sea cruise. How do I book this type of vacation with cruisequick, or can I even do it with them?
