My mother uses a electric wheelchair after a devastating stroke.

1. Does anyone know the embarkation process at Port Canaveral? We are also Silver Castaway Cay Members. We can't remember the process from our last DCL cruise.

2. We will be parking at the port. We will pull up quickly get my mothers wheelchair out and luggage and I will stay with her while my father and sons go and park the SUV. Should this be an issue? Using hotels park and shuttle just adds extra trips since we have to drive to port and take my mother and her wheel chair anyway.

3. In St. Thomas for our December 3rd Fantast sailing is there any way of finding out which port we will dock at so we can plan ahead of where she can drive around and do a little shopping?

Thanks so much!

Your embarkation and parking plans should be fine at Port Canaveral. There is an area to pull up and unload the luggage with porters; your mom and you can get out there as well. If your father and sons park in the garage, the closest entrance would be the skyway on deck 3, but they'll want to return to ground-level and join you. Either that or plan to meet up inside the terminal after security.

I'm not sure about St. Thomas.

Enjoy your cruise!
