Cruise

That is pretty cool- is this something that people do then on the doors on the ship?

Yes, usually someone on your cruise will start a thread in the Cruise meets here http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=85

Ours is here which I started when we booked back in 2009 http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2327473

I then started a list with everyone on the thread here After our names on the left you will see some say FE (Fish Extender) all these are participating in a FE gift exchange we take small gifts around to all the others and they will leave us gifts in our FE.

A lot of Dissers do the Fish Extender and decorate their doors. This was ours.

The white board is useful to keep track of kids!

We love to decorate the door also. And my fave dessert, Cheesecake

it's really quite impossible to go hungry on a DCL ship...
even if you have special food requirements - they go above and beyond!!

we've only been on two DCL cruises - both times on the wonder- but we thought the food was good in the restaurants.

we ate in palo on our second cruise, when both kids were old enough to eat there....it was good, but i wouldn't worry about missing it...

we have reservations on the Dream for next year - we won't bother with palo, but i might go for Remy, if we can get a reservation...i ate at V&A last year at the GF and thought it was worth every penny....if Remy is on the same level, i'm more than happy to give it a try :)

Our newly married daughter and her husband are just back from the Dream and they thought Remy was absolutely fantastic. They booked it as soon as the "window" opened, however, as it is extremely popular.
