Cruise/travel agent question

I will give you some more information about Cabin numbers that I think I read here on The Dis. I don't have the quote but if the owner is still around, please chime in. I have this in a word doc on my computer and I can't even tell you how old it is. Maybe this will help others.

When you get a cabin number there are clues to it's location.

The first number is the deck where you will find the cabin.

If next is a 0 – port forward

If next is a 1 – port aft

If next is a 5 –starboard forward

If next is a 6 – starboard aft

If even – it’s an outside room

If odd – it’s an inside room

I think it's pretty nifty.....now you know how old I am.:flower1:

Hey all :)

Again a big thanks to all of you for your support. I just wanted to let you know that I ended up with a WONDERFUL travel agent who has already proven to be a treasure. I spoke to a TA from another company, and she was very nice, and I would have been perfectly happy working with her. I also emailed Small World and let them know about the personality mismatch. They were terrific!! They matched me with Marion, and I simply cannot say enough good things about her. She has been enthusiastic in helping me plan all aspects of the trip, full of great info, and just an all-around pleasure to work with.

In retrospect, it seems so easy to just talk to management, politely explain what I'm looking for in a TA, and get properly matched up... At the time, though, it seemed so tough to "complain" and mess with what seemed a predetermined system.

So thanks again for the moral support, and kudos to Small World for following through. :) :)

That is awesome! Congratulations and very good job to Small World for sure.

Have a fantastic cruise. :)
