Which would you choose factoring in past prices and weather?

I'm assuming late summer is out, that is hurricane season, correct?

Stuck cause of school calender.

Thanks for any comments!

Hurricane seasion is June to November. We've always cruised in late August (around Labor Day) and in about 8 trips have only had a problem once. I've also had semi rough seas in July.

I'd pick a time that works best for you and your pocket book.

We ourselves enjoy late August, in NYC we don't go back to school until after Labor Day and it's a nice end to the summer.

Darn. I was thinking we'd be safe early June with the hurricance season. Kids here go back to school first of August so August won't work. We're basically stuck spring break or June or July.

Anyone know if it is warm enough to swim in April, is June & July too hot to enjoy?

Thanks.

You are probably fairly safe in June (I just wanted to point out that the season does last close to six months long and you can have a problem at any time during that period. Worse times, are closter to Sept/Oct)

I read recently here that the Western cruise has less chance of bad seas. Not sure if that is true, but we'll be testing the waters so to speak in a few short weeks.

We're in the Atlanta area as well and we booked for the first week in April (spring break). If you are concerned with budget, I hope you are planning for April 2006. We booked this April back in October and it has increased by about $2000 since then. Seems like I compared that week in April to summer when I booked it and the April week was cheaper but not positive about that. Hope this helps

I live in Tampa, Fl and even though hurricane season starts in June, it is very rare to have a tropical storm in June and July...doesn't usually kick in until late august. Sept and Oct are the most likely to have a tropical system move through!

I would think itd be warm enough to swim on the cruise in April!

we've done both. early summer gives you more flexibilty for flights but it is much hotter. you can swim in the caribbean in april and it sure is nice to take a break after a long new england winter. both times are very crowded with a higher proportion of children but even on a sold out cruise i've never felt overwhelmed by the number of fellow passengers.

we switched to early summer to change itineraries and to acommodate work and sports schedules.

We've done our three all in June for the same reason. We've not run into any hurricanes.

Weather-Nassau was very very hot
-CC was great, typical beach weather
-St. Thomas and St. Martin and days at sea were
beautiful with a nice breeze.
