Last December we went on a 4 day "Fall Fantasy" cruise and paid about $750 p/p for a deck 5 (balcony) room. We thought it was a reasonable price.
I am looking into a 7 day cruise to the Western Carribean for 1/03
and I am finding prices of $1,600+ p/p for a deck 5 room.
Looking at past history, do you folks think that price is in line with past 7 day cruises or has there been a larger than average price increase this year?
In addition can we expect any "winter discounts" to be announced in the coming months?:bounce:

Well, $750 for 4 nights equates to $1,312.50 for 7 nights. Since the $750 was a Fall Fantasy rate, I'd say $1,600 is not too far off. If Disney later offers a promotion for your travel date, you might get as good or better deal. As for whether Disney will offer one or not, that will depend on the bookings. Why would they offer a promotion if they can sell out without one?
:p :p :p

Book early! The brochure prices are not necessarily the same as what the cruise will actually cost if you book far enough in advance. DH and I just booked a cruise for 12/03 and saved about $2200! It's worth it if you have the time to plan.
