Cruise Pre-Stay Help Please! :)

Hey everyone! My family and I (DH, DS 6, DS 7), will be going on the Magic January 17 2009 but we're going to come in the Wednesday before the cruise and hit two parks (Magic Kingdom Thursday and Hollywood Studios Friday). We already have transfers for the cruise, and I know we can catch a ride from one of the hotels ... does anyone know what hotels those are?? Also, does any one know where we can get good deal on park tickets? We won't need something that won't expire ... just the two days. We live in the diagonal opposite side of the US in Northern Idaho (nearly Canada). So I doubt we'll be back with in the next few years. Any thought or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!!

If you have transfers you would need to call DCL to let them know from which resort you'll be leaving- they need this information to secure enough space on the motorcoach for your family from the resort you've chosen. You don't need to be staying at a WDW resort to get transfers from one, however you also can't leave a vehicle parked in a resort lot. There are only a few resorts where direct DCL transfers *can't* be booked...they are: Pop Century, all three All Star resorts, Contemporary, Ft. Wilderness campground, Yacht Club, and Coronado Springs. Any of the other resorts would be fine. It is normally suggested (unless you are staying there) to not go to CBR (hard to find the right location for pick-up) and it's preferred that you go to the Swan resort if not staying onsite. It's a smaller lobby and easier for the DCL CM's there to assist you. If you are staying at a resort other than the ones mentioned above that don't offer the service, your transfers will also include your luggage being picked up directly from your resort room. If you aren't staying there then bring your luggage and it will be transported for you. Hope that helps!---Kathy
