Hi DCL experts! I have a question about the pictures that are taken on the cruises, that I have seen and heard so much about... I just went to a site, and someone had a picture of their family with 4 disney characters in it. It had Mickey, minnie, goofy and pluto all in the same pic! It had that starry night background that I have seen alot of from people's cruise reports, and pics etc.
My question is, did everyone get the opportunity for all these characters in one picture? Usually at Disneyland, WDW you get them one at a time. Was this a fluke thing? Or did everyone get the opportunity to have a pic with all four together with them??
I will be so excited if this is available to everyone!!! Thanks!!

I haven't seen 4 characters at one time, but on our cruise last week, Lilo and Stitch were taking photos in 2 separate lines and a guest asked if they could get a shot with the both of them together with her children and the photographer was happy to do just that! (What ever it takes to get you to buy the photos I guess!!) I saw the princesses doing the same thing too. Don't be afraid to ask for something specific. The CM's are so nice and they really want to please the guests!! Hope this helps to answer your question!!

Getting 4 at once would be a fluke...but we've frequently had 2. For instance, we've got pics with Snow White and Dopey, Mic and Min, Chip & Dale, etc.

It didn't happen on the cruise, but one night a few years ago while at Chef Mickey's near closing I got a picture with me and all of the characters who were there that night. I just went to get one with Goofy when Dale jumped in at then the taking the picture CM called Chip and the rest of the gang over, Minnie, Mickey, and Donald. I love that picture.
Also one day while taking pictures on main street near the flag pole we were getting pictures with Donald and Daisy and Peter and Wendy were walking by and got in the picture too. My sister is really good "friends" with Chip and Dale and Peter must have known that so he insisted on being in the picture too.

On the Cruise it was hardest to get pictures at night before dinner because there was a lot of people around. But like somone else said it never hurts to ask.

Sad to hear that it probably was a fluke, but since I had never gone on a cruise, I thought I would check. And thanks for all the info, some of my favorite parts of going to Disney is getting pics!!

Ask the CMs what your options are. We only saw 2 characters at a time. We skipped geting them on formal night--lines were toooo lonnngg for my 4 yr DS & was disappointed to find out that was the only night to get 2 characters together for formal poses except for Lilo & Stitch who worked as a team during the cruise. My kids wanted Mickey & Minnie together w/ us. Ask the CMs for what you want on the 1st day & find out the schedule. There is CM in charge of all photos lingering around in the atrium who knows what's happening.

Have fun...but don't spend too much time in lines for photos. There are tons of photo op.s every single day. I felt like we wasted too much time taking pictures. I will be more discerningnext time & I'll get there earlier to line up for the photos we really want.
