To experienced travelers who have journeyed on different Disney ships...

I was just looking up the cost of pre-purchasing the photo package of our upcoming cruise through MyCruisePhotos link on DCL website. We have used this in the past, and debating between the digital (USB) only package and the digital + prints package, as I am not a fan of creating unnecessary waste (prints are still compiled, but then thrown out if people do not want them). Anyway, we have always traveled on the Dream, but this next trip will be on the Fantasy. The option for digital + prints is not available for our cruise. I checked another Fantasy date (still not available) and another Dream date (available), and was wondering if anyone could confirm whether the digital + prints option is only available on some cruises and/or ships? I don't think it will greatly effect our decision, but would be good to know for future reference

Im not sure if it depends on the ship or the specific sailing but I know prints are no longer offered with the packages on many sailings now. Definitely not on my upcoming Wonder sailing

Fantasy is all digital. They only print pictures if you're buying them.

How about on the Dream? Do they still print out photos to put in your file at Shutters?

Yes I believe they still print pictures and place them in your folder on the Dream.

They did on our 5 night double dip the end of June this year.
