Cruise Meet Sept, 9th 2012 Dream

Hey there! I've had a little more time to research since I asked this question yesterday. FE's are Fish Extenders and we are so up for that!! My DH was looking over my shoulders at the examples and said that I could make that (with the new sewing machine I got for Christmas). My old machine has some Disney embroidery designs built in, but not the font. So count us in!

Hi Everyone! DH and I will be on this cruise too- getting so excited! This is our second DCL cruise but our first on the Dream. We're following up this cruise with a WDW stay so it's going to be a great trip.

I really hope we can get a FE group together. I participated in the FE group on my last cruise and while our group was small, it worked out great!

Booking date is coming up soon! I am also trying to figure out which day I want to try for Palo and Remy. So many decisions!

Hope everyone has a great cruise,.....as for us, we are out of this cruise....we rebooked for Sept.15, 2013, I think that might be the DVC members cruise of 2013.....anyway rebooked the same cat 5d -6th deck staterooms and saved almost 500.00$.............take care everyone....BYE

I paid our cruise off as of yesterday, we are going! Now I just have to set my clock for midnight and try to get our Palo Brunch!!! We could not book it last year and even when I got on the ship I went straight to Palo and got on a wait list and never heard from them. I am hoping that since they quit having the Tea, there will be more openings for Brunch, fingers crossed.

Sorry I don't know anything about the FE's, we have yet to participate in one. I know everyone on these boards say it is fun.

Printed our cruise docs & signed up for a scuba excursion in Nassau! We are getting closer.

Looked at a Palo brunch, but haven't talked DH into it yet. I'm off to look for more info on what it entails. Anyone able to tell me a litle more about it before it's too late to try & book?

Oh you should go for it and book the brunch!!! We did it on the Wonder and it was the best meal we had on the cruise. The service is great and the view out to the ocean is wonderful! Our server took us around the different food displays and explained what was offered. There are so many things to try breads, seafoods, olives, to name a few. You also get to pick an entree' and there are lots of delicious deserts to try. We had a great time, that is why I couldn't wait to go again. My DH loved it too. You can't wear shorts. Men have to wear slacks and a nice shirt. You should definitely try it, you won't regret it.

Thanks, Teri. So far no luck with DH, but we'll see. There was so much food that was included on our first cruise that he would rather spend our trip $$$$ on other things. I'm thinking I may give him a pass on it this cruise, and insist when we book the next cruise I'm planning - 7 days on the Fantasy!

Hi everyone! We are going!!!
We changed our cruise date and will be sailing with you all, it will be me (Dennis), DW (Monica) and DD (Madison (10)). This will be our 5th Disney Cruise and our 2nd on the Dream! Our excursions are booked as well, We are doing Atlantis Waterpark in Nassau, Jetskiis at CC, and Palo brunch , we are considering to book Remy as soon as we know our dining rotation.
We are doing a 7 day post-cruise stay at WDW!

Hey Teri, I now remember you! Yes we did B2B September 8th-15th! Too bad I think we didn't meet in person, did you attend to the Dis meet at the atrium? I might post a pic of our Dis meet here later!

Yes, DH and I were a little late, but got there in time for the picture. If I remember correctly we were standing in front of a railing looking down at the people taking the picture. We stayed and talked to a few people before we all had to go to the safety drill. No one posted a picture on our meet thread though.

Hey Teri, I just sent you a couple of photos of our Sept 11th 2011 Dis meet aboard the Beautiful Disney Dream, it's funny that if your husband is the one wearing an orange shirt, I am right beside him! wearing a black t-shirt and DCL lanyard. My wife and my daughter are on their knees in the front , DW is wearing green shorts and black t-shirt and DD is wearing a pink dress. All the photos were taken on my camera by two ladies of the Disney crew.
