Cruise Meet -April 21, 2012 - 7 Night Eastern Caribbean

We definitely need to do FE's. We have plenty of time to plan! We can start a list in a few months since we are well over a year away!

I just got a DCL mailing for the cruise and it has info on the western caribbean, not the eastern.

Anyone get theirs yet?

I got this a couple of weeks ago, I heard it was some kind of computer glitch. I had already received the correct one shortly after booking.

I knew it had to be a glitch, especially since everything else (DCL's site, DU's site) say it's an eastern itinerary.

They need to get someone who knows the right way to operate a website.

Hey nice to see the roll call picking up. Really excited to get to know you all

Kim

Actually my little package from Disney doesn't even say with itin. that I can see....hummmmmmm

Well, after getting two Western itinerary mailings in as many days, today I get an Eastern. I think that they might have something going wrong if I get yet another mailing tomorrow...

Hummmm who did you all book with? I booked with DU to get the OBC but have only received the DVD that gets sent out.

Hello!
We just booked this week. Me (mid 30s) and mom (late 50s) will be traveling along with mom's BFF & her husband. also trying to get some friends we made on our 2008 Magic sailing on board with us.

This will be our 6th time on DCL. Mom also spends a lot of time on RCCL.

We're doing the Dream next month (Feb 27) but have been stressing about 4 nights not being enough time to see the new ship. Now that we know we have a 7 night on the fantasy we're less stressed about seeing everything on the DREAM!

Welcome aboard! After seeing everyting that the Dream can do, I can't wait for the Fantasy, only concern being the size of the pools, but it may be one thing that pictures don't do them justice.

Hi All!

We are sailling on the Dream 2/13-2/17, and already are planning to book this cruise while onboard. We would like to be on the FE list when that gets planned.

Question for you experienced ones (next month is our first ever cruise)...as you're talking about onboard credit and such...what agency is the best to use? Someone mentioned a $250 credit, but did you book that onboard? Just trying to maximize our credit. I just worry that if we book onboard to get the discount, we might miss out on a better deal with bigger credits. Ya know what I'm sayin?! LOL. If you could dumb this down for me, I'd appreciate it!

It will be me, DH, and DD (11).

Talk to you soon!:woohoo:

When you book onboard you get a discount and an OBC, then you can transfer to a TA, some will give you an additional OBC, I'm not sure which TA gives the best OBC. I think that it is best while you are on board booking to transfer the reservation at that point, if you do it after you get home you might get a lesser OBC from the TA.

We'll be on the Dream right after you, the 17th -24th.

I can confirm that at least DU would give less of an OBC if you transferred after you got off.

As long as you name your Travel Agent at the time you book on the ship, they will get full commission and you would get whatever benefits they may be offering (again, this is up to the TA you go to).

We just returned home from the Disney Dream Maiden Voyage! We had an amazing time! What an amazing ship, so many new great things to see and do!

I am hoping to talk the hubby into taking us back on the Dream and maybe a Alaska cruise before we go on the Fantasy.:rolleyes1 keeping my fingers crossed

We did book our Disney Fantasy Cruise for April 21, 2012 while we were on board! Very excited to see what new and exciting things the Fantasy has to offer!

Please add us to the FE list if you have started it.

We will be in room category V - Concierge stateroom 12508
2nd dinning seating

Looking forward to chatting and meeting everyone on this cruise!

Welcome aboard, nikicares!

I don't believe anyone has started an FE yet. I'm not THAT organized, otherwise I'd do it myself.

I originally booked a Dream cruise, then moved to this one. After seeing pics of the size of some of the verandahs, I'm now thinking about moving from my cat 9a to a verandah...I just wish I could find pics of 8502 or another forward 9a.

I think I have a pic of a catagory 9a... and also a verandah room...

I can not figure out how to add pics to this message :( So I will try and PM you the pics.

AND I am way NOT organized enough to start a FE.... Maybe I can find one someone else has done and try to create one for this cruise. Let me see what I can do.
