Jordak, I have felt like you once and again and I don't blame you. It's the kind, appreciative people like the last two pages have shown that keeps me going. I hope that you feel better today. I understand the time it takes to put together one DISign, it took me a week to do one once and a day for someone to try to sell it on Ebay. I know you know this, but you have made so many memories and so many people happy. Thanks for all you do. xo

Sorry but my frustration with this has peaked tonight. There is work involved with these designs. Some more than others and i don't think most understand that. I'm not just going out finding a treasure chest and typing Disney Dream on it. Sorry i am done venting for tonight.

i'm so sorry to hear that! as if all the other work wasnt example enough all the DISigners images on here are amazing! (i believe there is 1 add'l besides milliepie & yourself - & i dont want to leave any1 out!)
& that you all do it for free is incredible!

Just my two cents but the work you (all the DISigners) is very much appreciated. It allows us to make our trips that much more special. Don't let the naysayers get you down, because we love your work.

After noticing i just wasted hours of my time making some custom designs, it's not worth wasting my time for free anymore. If you want something i have already made, great but don't ask for custom work then ask somebody else for the same thing because you didn't like what i made for FREE! Even worse are the couple times somebody wanted a custom design and then got all bent out of shape because i shared it with others and then they still didn't thank me for a new design i made for them.

WOW! I am so sorry this happened to you. I am hoping that maybe the person just wanted additional work and not duplicate work. I love your designs - all the designers on here are incredibly talented! I wish I had any percentage of your ability to do what you do. I'm really sorry someone has aid or done something that has made you feel this way. Selfishly, I hope you will continue to share your gifts and abilities, but I would respect your decision either way.

Jordak, I have actually never posted to the magnets link before because for a while I wasnt sure what it was! But when I finally did figure it out I was so impressed with the work you have done! My mother does miniatures for doll houses and such and it is incredibly detailed and extremely hard work so when someone does something like this to her and I have seen it I know how it must make you feel. I think you are gifted and talented and I would have loved to ask you for a couple of designs for my family's first Disney Cruise. I understand your frustration and hope that someday you can use your creative talents again! I hope it works out for you and Im only sorry I didnt ask for some of your beautiful work sooner! I'm sure you feel taken advantage of and I'm sorry that someone's ungrateful attitude has been so hurtful. I've been looking at the magnet threads for a couple of days now and I'm amazed at how much work you (and millie) have put in for other people at no cost! It would be a shame to have you discontinue your work because of this jerk, but I also think that sometimes it takes a drastic action to cause a jerk to wake up and smell the coffee. I hope that you are able to step back, take some time to relax and do something for yourself, and then I really hope you continue to use your talents (if not here on the Dis, then in some other way). You are very gifted!

If you feel up to it sometime, my son is starting his new class at school and it's the Sea Turtles Class which has two new teachers this year.
I think the teachers would really like this:

I wasn't expecting the outpouring of kind words from so many people. Definitely wasn't my intention but feels very nice. Thank you to everybody that posted a message!! Really makes up for the very small number of people who are not very appreciative.

Also thanks to Millie. She understands more than anybody my frustration but now mine seems minor. I don't even want to know if my stuff has ever been on ebay. That would really set me off.

Don't be sorry. I don't blame you for being upset. You devote a lot of time and effort to spreading pixie dust on all of us. It's got to be a kick in the n**s to have people be ungrateful after all you do here.
We've all been there; flipping out at someone for something not so huge but at the time, it's upsetting.
In fact, I just called my ds13 from work today to apologize for hollering at him half of last night while he was getting overly wound up with ds10, getting loud while dh was sleeping. This was while I was so frustrated printing magnets. lol! Even after all my snipping at him to shush, by the end of the night he said, "Mom, do you mind if I vacuum in here? It really needs it." At the time I barely acknowledged him, so wrapped up in printing and my own frustration.
On my lunch break today I thought how lucky I was and felt so bad for being a mean ol mom; I had to call him. They really weren't being bad or unusually loud. Sometimes we all just lose it. We're human. (well, most of us...)

Sorry this is so long; just had to tell my story.

ps. Thank you again for all the magic you spread here. It would be so dull without you!
