How does the cruise lines transfers work now? I have seen some people be able to get checked in from the hyatt hotel and others who went through a Disney resort have to go through check in. They took there passports and stuff and bypassed the check in down stairs.

Every time I took a DCL transfer from a WDW resort I still had to check in at the DCL terminal. Most recently last March.

Same. We sailed on the Wish a few months back and did a pre-night at Riviera. The DCL host that met us in the lobby of the Riviera did check our passports and paperwork before we were able to board the bus, but we still went through the entire check-in process at Port Canaveral

They checked our passports when we got on the bus from AKL in January, but they still did a check-in at the port. Maybe it was a little faster (?) but it doesn't bypass check-in. I think it's just to make sure you have the appropriate ID before you get there.

I believe if you take transfers from the MCO Hyatt, they do check in there now? I feel like I remember reading that somewhere. Or they were piloting it?

We just did this two weeks ago from the Hyatt at MCO. They check you in at the hotel now. They go through the passports and your port arrival sheet. Then they just check again right before you get on the bus. Once we got to the port all we had to do was go through security and then walked on the ship. Super easy-well done Disney!

Yeah this seems no only be done at MCO airport check in the the Hyatt check in area. Resorts have to go through regular check in.
