Been trying all week to get through to DCL phone systems and none of them are able to take calls…..what seems to be the problem!! No one is available to take calls!

I've seen numerous posts on FB groups that people got through in 15-30 minutes... Someone said try using the "booking a new cruise option".

I called yesterday at 8am and after an hour and a half I was finally connected to someone. I changed our Dream cruise to the Wish. It’s only money right? It will be a one and done because it’s ridiculously more expensive but I’m really excited!

I tried calling Disney this morning and first selected the I have a cruise booked option but got the voicemail of we are not able to take your call so I called back and selected the book a new cruise option and was hung up on twice....

Needed to modify our transportation and could not get through trying multiple days and times using "already booked." Hit the "new cruise" option and was connected in 10 minutes. I was polite and patient with the cast member helping me since it was a change and not a new cruise. Got everything sorted in a few minutes.

Same - I needed to get through to cancel and rebook with a TA, but every option led to try again later so I chose book a cruise (hey, I WAS going to book a cruise.. eventually... through a TA...). It was still a 30 minute wait and when I was connected the person who answered said she was website support (???) so maybe I was still rerouted. Either way she helped and also commented that she was helping other folks cancel and move to TAs. I think some of the general public has had about enough of these impossible holds.

Most callcenters have their phone menus set up like this. 'Book a new ....' means new revenue coming in. Therefore you are placed in front of people who need to change or cancel, or have other questions. Should definitely work for all travel related callcenters.

I FINALLY go through after being on hold after 1 1/2hrs wait which isnt that bad! (they didnt hang up on me this time)

If you call late in the evening, they often won't take your call. Don't wait until the last hour or so before closing to call. It's a customer-unfriendly practice, but I've noticed it, too. If you call during the morning or afternoon & press the option for booking a new cruise, you'll get through with a short wait.

Called Saturday morning. First, I tried the “existing booking” option and got the ‘we’re so busy that we’re not taking calls right now.’ So, I immediately called back and selected the “new cruise booking” and got someone in less than 5 minutes.

I have tried calling both the castaway club number and the regular number…multiple evenings between 7-9pm. I cannot even get through…just says “we are experiencing unusually high call demand and are unable to take your call at this time.” I just want to add transfers from WDW to port and port to WDW. Any tips???

Yes, hit the "new cruise booking" option. That's the only way to get through.

I couldn’t even get through to an option. It rang and then gave me that recording.

I called last week just after 8:00am to do the same. My estimated “9 minute wait” was actually over an hour, but I eventually got through. Try calling when the phone lines open.
