Hello all! Do Cruise insurances cover cancellation fees imposed by DCL? I am aware of the DCL policies and the amount the fees cost on certain times on cancellation.

I am Washington sate and DCL insurance unfortunately does not cover insurance for us in this state. Which company or website do you normal use?

thanks in advance.

There are several travel insurance comparison sites (google that). There you can put in the parameters of what you want covered (generally any non-refundable costs) and they will show you a variety of policies from various companies to compare.

That's what we do.

You'll find 3rd party insurance is typically less costly for more coverage.

Yes, Google for outside services. You will likely come up with websites that allow you to compare all sorts of policies from many companies. You will need to know the date you paid a deposit on your trip. Also, assuming you used a credit card, you might want to give them a call to see if you have any coverage for travel and/or cancellation as some cc offer this as a benefit. Good luck!
