cruise incentives

Anyone gotten the paperwork for the cruise incentive? For the 7 day cruise, how much would it cost/person to upgrade to cat4's from cat8/9. Are gratuities included also? What is the 5th person upgrade cost? (this upgrade basically means you get a cat4) Thanks.

My guide told me you could add a fifth person for $100 (4 night cruise). I think it was $175 for the 7 night.

Gratuities are included.

My paperwork doesn't specifically say a cost. From what my guide told me it was $175 pp to upgrade on a 7 night plus the cost of the 5th person.

The contract addendum only states that you call MS if you want to add people or upgrade your cruise. I doubt MS has any info on it yet since I don't think anyone has closed on these incentives yet or received their vouchers. My guide originally thought you call DCL directly, not MS to book the cruise but she could be wrong. Once I get my voucher I'll see what instructions come with... Not planning on adding a person, but am interested if I can change from a 3 to a 4 day cruise and upgrade to Veranda and what the costs would be to do so...

I will be interesting to see how they handle our booking as we've been booked in a cat 6 on the 11/15 cruise since 3/29/08. I don't know if I'll have to cancel and rebook or if they'll just let me keep the reservation and pay for the upgrade.

Originally I was going to use it for my DS, DDIL & GS, but since it's non-transferable I just moved GS into our cabin and we'll use on ours.

I heard about the DCL incentives. Can anyone tell me within what timeframe you have to take the cruise?

It's not cheap to add the 5th person. You must pay the fee per person to upgrade to a category 4 stateroom, and then pay whatever DCL normally charges for a 5th person in that category.

I asked about just this today, as I technically have a voucher now (once it arrives!) for a 4 day cruise.

Even though it's for 4 people technically, only my bf and I would go (those cruise rooms are tiny!). I asked if it was possible to upgrade to a veranda room (from the oceanview room they give us) and my guide said it would be $175 a person. Hope that helps someone!

Also, I believe the dates started this August, ran through March or so (roughly every week or so, I think). Then nothing again till August, I think, then it starts up again until the end of the year. But I believe somewhere on one of these boards someone posted a copy of cruise dates (like a scanned copy).
