Here are a few things for us to use as a family.

Fish Extenders (please note I'm not an expert - this is our first Disney Cruise)

On the Cruise Thread there is lots of threads that can give you more information as well as a thread with pictures of FE's and a thread with pictures of gifts.

There is a fish (or other) outside each stateroom where the CM's can place your navigator or other message. Someone came up with the idea to create these pocket extenders to hang from that so DISers could exchange small gifts with each other during their cruise.

At the top of the Cruise Thread is a thread called Meet Your Cruisers (I think). You can join that thread and talk with others who are going on your cruise. You would also join the FE exchange thier too.

I'm trying to get ours started but we don't have a lot of people on our cruise to have joined the thread. However, we are still a good ways out from our sail date.

Allison, great stuff! We're going to WDW this November as a surprise for my (then) 11 year old daughter, I may use some of these ideas...

We are also going on a cruise next April (she knows about that, it's our second). Where did you get your bag and FE? Did you make them yourself? I need a new one, I wasn't thinking when we went last October and went too personalized (Halloween).

I made sure that lots of my items did not include dates or "themes" because I wanted to take them on other cruises. It gets expensive if you have to buy one for each trip.

I'm glad you like them and thanks for looking at my ideas. I hope to post more next week.

Great new pics!

The Mickey Mouse card and matching gift bag I purchased from ETSY. PM for more information.

However, it would not be hard to make at all. I have seen the bags at Wal-Mart, Michael's, Hobby Lobby and other places. The rear is just paper crafting or you could even use stickers.

The other invitations (like Epcot and such) came from DISigners on this board and I just printed them on cardstock paper and cut them down to size.

I'm printing magnets tonight....as I told Mel you can never have too many magnets. We have 2 cabins this time.

Are you cruising, if so there's this thread for the decorations to around the cabin number. All the disigns are on the first page along with instructions. I have never tried pasting a thread over. Hope it works.

Guess what? We just added three more nights to our Thanksgiving Trip. I'm going to have lots of work to do to get ready but it will be worth it.
