Cruise Ideas and Now WDW too! My Ideas and Pictures

Thank you! I love it. I'm going to use it on his shirt. I got a Mickey Rolling Backpack and I'm going to place in it - his airplane shirt, airplane ticket, activity book, snacks using the bag toppers, and his iPad to take on the plane. We will give him the Backpack when we get to the airport and suprise him. We still are not going to tell him about the cruise. We are going to let him think he is going back to WDW. We will spend the day at Epcot and then the next morning take the bus to the Ship. I'm not going to say anything until he sees the boat. Then I'm going to give him his "First Cruise" Shirt.

I'm so excited. Thanks again for all the wonderful ideas and creations. Love them!!!

Mel, I think any design can be used for a shirt. Just depends on what your looking for. The pirate sign you made for Ethan would be cute on a shirt. Just may need to change the words a little. You are very talented and creative.

Happy Mother's Day, Mel! Thank you again for all you do for others!

I love the magnet design above. It's so cute. Ethan's going to have a great time decorating the door!!!

Hugs

Having a great Mothers day but just wanted to stop by and say

You Old Salty Dog! :goodvibes

You know between now and Nov you will have to be thinking of booking another cruise!

My friend Judy says that you can never have too many door magnets but then she has three cruises booked right now.:scared1:

These designs are so great. If I can ask, I love being creative, but how or what program do you use to make all of these great designs?

My daughter Kristen turns 5 on the first day of her cruise and then on to WDW. I would love to come up different ideas or designs. How do I go about doing all of this?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Would love to see pictures of things others have made for cruises? Please post if you have some. Thanks,
Allison

Loved reading the great suggestions on how to make the cruise extra special. Preparing for our family's first Disney cruise and I don't want to miss an opportunity either. Thanks for sharing to help us novices out!

I'm glad you found it helpful. I'm going to start posting pictures of some of the things I have already gotten together soon.

Please feel free to post your ideas and pictures too. I would love to see them.

Thanks, Allison

Hi Allison

How do you decide how many of the things you are going to make? Do you leave something every day?

Can't wait to see or get some ideas!

Thanks, Dawn

Hi Allison

Thanks, Dawn

Since we are flying this time (when we went to WDW we took a camper and drove down for the 9 days) I'm not able to do as much as I would like. As my DH keeps telling me "We don't have money for the luggage if we want to have fun on the cruise." :rotfl2:

So I have decided to do a small "Travel Package", an Epcot Package, Welcome Aboard Package and Pirate Night Package. As you can see in my first post I am working on the Welcome Aboard Package right now.

I will be posting my main ideas in the first post so keep checking there. And I love to see and hear about everyone else's ideas so I am hoping people will post here with their ideas too.

I will be posting pictures soon.
I just can't decided what would be better
A) Pictures of everything when it's completed and all together or
B) Pictures of individual items when they are completed (even if the over all pictures is not complete) ANY THOUGHTS?!?!?!:confused3

I love sharing and talking with others so please feel free to ask any questions. If you have an idea but don't know where to go let me know. I'm also good at finding people to turn my idea into reality.

Happy planning and creating. Allison

Just started reading your posts. I'm loving them! Can't wait to see pics! I think you should post pics as you go along and then post a pic with it all together. We just booked our first Disney Cruise for this December and are taking our 7year old son with us. :cool1:

Can't wait to read more!

Thank you for the tip. I just received my FE Extender and a few other items. I'm going to take pictures tonight after my son goes to bed. I should be able to post them then too.

Thanks for the comments. Please feel free to post your ideas and pictures of anything you make too.

I'm working on our FE now. Once I get one put together I will post a pic. School just finished up here, so we are out for the summer! Time for me to start working on trip creation!

Sorry I wasn't able to post pictures last night. We had some really bad hail storms and my DS asked me to lay down with him when I put him to bed. The next thing I knew it was time to get up and take him to school. I guess I was tired too.

He only has to go to school for 1/2 a day so if all goes as planned I should be able to get some up tonight.

Thanks again for everything!
Allison

We are not going to tell our DS about our trip until we arrive at the airport. As soon as we park our car I am going to give him a Mickey Gift Bag and Card. Inside the gift bag will be a "On Our Way to Disney World" Shirt and 1st Airplane Ride Certificate. It will also have a Bag of Snacks with a DISign Bag Topper. Inside the card will be his Disney Disign Airplane Ticket.

I also purchased a Disney Mickey Rolling Backpack that I am going to have filled with items he can take on the plane ride.

Pictures of the Airport Package (more to come later):

Once we arrive in Orlando we will go to the Port Orleans French Quarter and check-in to our room. As soon as we can we are going to Epcot to tour the World Showcase, eat dinner and see Illuminations. My DS will receive a Epcot Gift Bag filled with everything he needs to have a wonderful time at Epcot.

After spending the day at Epcot and getting a good nights sleep at Port Orleans French Quarter we will have breakfast and then head over to the Disney Dream. Again I am not telling my DS where we are going until he sees the ship. Once we get to the ship I am going to give him a Pluto Welcome Aboard Gift Bag with the following in it - Bon Voyage Shirt, Disney Dream Cruise Disign Ticket, Welcome Aboard Snack with Bag Topper, and Pluto Sailor Plush.

All other Welcome Aboard items can be seen in the next post. I don't want to have to carry all this stuff on board so the rest will be given to him once we are in our room.

I have decided to put these two pins in his package. Keeping with the theme of Pluto.
