We are sailing Celebrity Eclipse (Solstice Class) to Alaska next August in a suite. I'm glad to hear some feedback here. We have sailed DCL 20 times, but DCL priced us out for Alaska.

We like the suites on Celebrity. Are you in a Sky Suite? You'll be well taken care of. 😁

I have sailed with Carnival, Princess, and Royal Caribbean all in the past year (different ships though). I've enjoyed all of them for different reasons, but I would choose Royal Caribbean. I can't give input on Celebrity, but I hear really good things about them. DCL is still my favorite, but the price tag is getting hefty.

We are in a Celebrity Suite on the bump out. Our friends are sailing with us and they are in an aft Sky Suite. How is the food? We love Remy and Palo on DCL and are hoping we are not disappointed on Celebrity. How does the concierge service compare to Disney?

You'll have access to Luminae, the suites-only restaurant. You don't have unlimited specialty dining like the top suites, but you can make reservations through the butler or the Retreat (formerly Michael's Club) concierge. Often times in your Cruise Planner you can make a reservation for the first night for 30% off, or you can buy a package (3-nt., 4-nt., etc.). You can also dine in the Aqua-class restaurant, Blu, based on availability. We actually find the food in Luminae a bit much for 7 days, but the service is great and they work hard to make the dining a lovely experience.

Your butler or the concierge can handle any request. We don't ask for much, but some people ask for more. You can get afternoon snacks, escorts for tender service, room service (delivered by the butler), fresh flowers, a pillow menu . . .
