Cruise Castaway Cay Labor Day week or end of September? Does it make a difference?

So, I posed your question to both my wife, and both of my kids (D15, S12). My wife and daughter said 3-night because of the HOTH and being on Castaway on your birthday. My son, said 4-night because he wanted the extra day.

Therefore, I would say no great answer here other than you're on a Disney Cruise!!

They start August 13th. They already have off Labor Day and the following day so they would be missing 3 days to do the 4 night on the Wish. Either trip they are missing three days of school because we are driving.

If they are missing 3 days either way, makes sense to do the 4 night and get the best bang out of missing the days. Besides 4nights x 10 years =40. You can then celebrate your b’day reminiscing on the wonderful 4 nighter! Of course, it’s your call. CC on your b’day is cool but I would likely “Wish” I had that 4th night to be honest. We have flip flopped SO much! We're actually going to go with the 4 night! I just think the actual birthday day will be cool, but then ill spend the night packing to disembark the next morning and it will feel so rushed.

Update: Booked to GTY Verandah rooms and check-in tonight! Got boarding group 11. Never cut it this close before but it's exciting! We sail in a four weeks!!

Yes! We will be staying in Orlando the weekend before and then the evening after we disembark to make sure we can resort hop, go to Disney Springs, and I would really like to check out the Vineland Outlet (havent made it there the past two summer trips) It would have been so epic to spend my 40th birthday on Castaway but everything else would have made it chaotic and stressful for me. Looking forward to celebrating the whole week long!
