each year when we cruise and visit wdw we celebrate un-birthdays. we have our names on a piece of paper and pick one out at the begining of each day, some days are blank as there's 4 of us and usually 9 or 10 days involved, so whoever gets picked has an un-birthdayday and we celebrate all day long, great excuse for those drinks of the day on the ship.at night before bed we give a present to finish off the un-birthday. we have been doing this for as long as we've been going to disney, over 20 years, and the "kids" still look forward to doing this. anyone else have family traditions while on vacation?:cake:

When we go to the Magic Kingdom we always take a picture by the flower cart near the shops in the front of the park. It is neat to see how everyone has changed. We started this when I was a kid. I have many pictures in front of the flower cart and can't wait to take my 5 year olds picture in Sept. I really need to find all of the flower cart pictures and make a scrapbook for my parents. They would love that!

When we go to WDW we always go to Crystal Palace the first morning there, we take a picture on the porch with the castle behind us & have a wonderful breakfast... we JUST missed the renovations a few years ago & I was FREAKING out that we might not make it there! It was what we did the very first time my BF & I went together & for me it makes it sink in that we're actually there!!!

Waiting to start a new tradition for our first DC!!!! YAY!:D

We have a special Disney dinner before we leave on our trips, which means I cook favorite recipes from my Disney cookbook. Its a nice way to get in the mood!

Now that the weather is getting warmer here in South Jersey, and our cruise is getting closer, we are going to have a pre-cruise party. Our neighbors who will also be going on the cruise will be joining us on the back deck!! We will have non-alcoholic fun drinks for the kids and Real drinks for the adults!!:happy2: :drinking1

Our tradition comes at the end of our trips to WDW. Our last morning there we have breakfast at Chef Mickey's and ride the monorail -- both loops -- to say a final farewell.
