Cruise and magic bands

Ok I’m all booked and I see my 2 reservations.

Magic band plus

We have a few from the parks. Can we use those ones?

With regards to connecting people in rooms to them:

Reservation 1: me and my mom and 2 kids. I’m the gate keeper for everyone. I see the 4 of us and we are loaded so good to go.

Reservation 2: my wife and my dad. I can’t connect either of them. When it says to connect those 2 people it can’t cause it says birthdate associated with account doesn’t match on reservation. Well it can’t because I’m not on that reservation. My wife is and she is just a friend and family?

I’m confused.
 
My guess on reservation 2, the birthdate somewhere in the Disney system isn't matching what was entered on the cruise reservation.

I had issues connecting my husband to the reservation because somehow his CC account had been duplicated or something like that. IT was able to fix it though.
 
Yes you can use the Magicband + from the parks.

As for the IT issue I would go ahead and call and make sure your birthday is listed correctly
 
My birthdate is definitely listed correct because I was able to attach myself which again I’m the gatekeeper for everyone in the family. The problem was my wife who is the primary on the second cabin? I’m not even on that cabin if you look above, I have how it’s laid out that’s the one I’m having the difficulty with. I can’t attach her or my father, because it says the birthdates don’t match the account holder which is me obviously

Are you trying to match their names on the cruise reservation with their managed profiles in MDE? There must be a difference in the birthdate listed (I've always needed to put in a birthdate for my managed people). But I would just call, it'll probably take IT no time to figure it out
 
I agree, call Disney it at (407) 939-4357. Sometimes dates etc. get mixed up back in the database for no reason related to anything you’ve done.
 
It’s all good. No idea what was wrong they fixed it. I know it’s good cause I changed profile pics of everyone and new ones show up. So that’s done.

Now just to figure out everything on this ship.

I have the Disney play app downloaded cause we use it in the park. I don’t see that interactive game on it. I read that on e u are booked u can see it but maybe not till you get on the ship? Anyone have any experience there?

You don't use the Disney play app on the ship at all. Everything is through the Disney Cruise Line app and you won't really see anything on that until you get to the terminal and connect to the free wifi.

I'm talking about "Disney uncharted adventure" on the Disney play app
 
I swear I read it was the play app bit that was from pre release I know. I just googled it again for how to play and saw it was the navigator app. My bad.
