Just wanted to let everyone know the new add on promo on DCL...

First off, they treat all members great...lots of giveaways, in room packages, etc.

They are offering the same as everywhere price discount, -$10 SSR or -$8 AKL, off the $104

If you add 110 or 160, you get the normal 07 UY, no dues and open banking. You also get matching Developer Points.

For 200 add on's, apparently the most popular, you get the same 07 UY stuff, plus 270 developer and a $500 on-board credit.

On all, the Developer Points have 12 month window, UNLESS (only DCL add on's) you book a cruise with them...then you can book within 15 months and travel within the normal 24 month booking window!

Some good deals on board, and captive people...I think they make a ton on those boats!

Hey Mr D, thanks for he info:thumbsup2. Just what I was needing!

Please tell me more about your giveaways and in room packages.:yay:

Can I ask ?

Does the $500 on-board credit apply to the cruise that you are currently on or could this credit be transferred to a future cruise, say the one you booked with the developer points?

I take it that its easy to spend $500 on a 4-night cruise? Sorry if that sounds dumb, but our first DCL trip will be this July so really have no idea!

I take it that if you want to add on at a sold out resort, its just the $104 per point then?

Thanks!:flower3:

Thank you for sharing. How many people were there at the DCV presentation?

My wife and i were on the Janury 17th Disney Wonder 3 Day cruise and those were the same incentives we heard about. There were about 35 to 40 members at the member get together and maybe 25 to 30 prospective owners at the DVC sales presentation...................:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

They make fighting addonitis too hard!!!! Thank heavens we're not going on a cruise to May, '09...some time to breathe...last year we added on 280 points, and I thought we were done!...enough for now!:rotfl:

Sorry all, just got back in town.

There were only about 20 members, but they treat you right...free stuff, cool books and stuff in your stateroom...def. cool!

The $500 was for the cruise you're on, not future. Yea, unfortunatelly it is WAY too easy to spend the $$$$$$$$$$$$, but totally worth it!

I book this cruise on regular points, and just booked another in 2009 with D.P. I'm not sure about the add on at another resort...probably the true cost, I'd imagine.

Hope it helps, let me know if you need more!
