YES!!! I was so afraid someone would come and steal it away from me!

A few other stuff before heading to bed....

Dave - Great news about the $175 credit you and Corey won on WWTBAM. It certainly comes in handy come bill totalling time. Question though, did you just apply it to what you guys rang up already or was Corey allowed to buy something special or extra? I know when I won, we went out and splurged a bit.

Cathy - It has to be Bigelow's Green Tea with mint!! Very important, don't forget the mint part!

Eric - Still working out hard. You and Anja are gonna be so proud of me!

Shari here is a link that tells about the GooGoo It is a candy that is made here in Nashville and has been advertised on the grand ole opry forever.

Rosemary congratulations on the 1500 post to the thread.:bounce:

Wow, I had to catch up on all the recent pages that have been posted. So sorry to hear about Roland's mother. My thought and prayers go out to her.

I hope everyone else is on the mend. Being a nurse I tend to underplay all the aliments in the house and yes when it turns out to be more serious I have terrible guilt. My mom was the same way. She left my brother with abdominal pain for two days thinking it was just a GI virus with n & v, turned out to be appendecitis. My DS#2, two summers ago had mono and I thought he was just being lazy until one day he slept for nearly 24 hours and was dehydrated and needed fluids. I certainly wasn't winning any Mother of the Year awards for that. I have butterflied deep cuts together to avoid a trip to the ER for stitches and splinted class two sprains, if I could have only figured out to set bones and do casts I would have had even less trips to the ER. Pretty much need to be bleeding out of an artery or have a bone sticking out to get my attention. Most things I try to patch together or treat with over the counter medications.

Ave--- Congratulations to your Starfish team.

Kathy-- Being in health care things never really change, it is just recycled. So I don't get over stressed with changes anymore. They just give things a new name and if you have been in nursing as long as me, you know it was the same thing we had 10 years ago but called it something different. The big uproar in my hospital is the parking situation (this has been chronic for all 32 years that I have worked here). Unless you have worked here for 25 plus years or working evenings, nights or 12 hour shifts you aren't allowed to park on campus. People now must shuttle to work from a parking lot 2 miles from the hospital. All of us who are 25 plus years can't park in the front lots anymore, so we are in the back lots which is creating more problems as there are now no spots left for shift workers. The new system doesn't appear to be working as well as the old system. It puts you in a bad mood before you even get in the door. Oh well, I've seen this all before. What they need to build is another parking garage and they just refuse to do it.

I am soon ready to call to make my reservations. I have always had a veranda and this time will be using my DVC points. It is less points for the navagitor veranda, but not sure if we will like that. I know on our 9/28 cruise we didn't use the veranda as much as when there were all four of us. We mainly sat there at night time. I see that some of you have the navigator veranda. Did you ever have the regular and then go to navigator? I know that the navigator is more closed in and has the metal. Any input is helpful. I checked and they don't have the obstructed cat 6 that were changed to cat 7. If one of those was available, that would have been my choice.

Got to get to work.

Nancy

Rosemary ... Don't worry about the late dining. We usually go to Pluto's for a hot dog or the BEST chicken fingers at sea, in the late afternoon and they gets us thru till dinner. There is no rush getting dressed for dinner after doing the land excursions, and you can at least avoid all that rushing around.

Cathy--- I see that you tried to book the Radisson with the Fall code also. I can book it for my May cruise, but not for the Oct. What's with that? I always thought May was spring/summer and Oct was fall. Maybe the leaves will fall in May and bloom in Oct.

Now moving onto a rental car for May.

Nancy

Rosie,
we are proud of you!!!! What about chasing Cathy a bit around the ship to keep her away from the Hot Dogs and the Pizza? (See above post) :jester: We only have to watch our backs when we are on CC, because she will definitely play the Big Dipper again and throw us off our floats.

Nancy,
take the Navigator's Verandah. We love it!! It's especially nice when you're at cruising speed, because you're outside with no wind rushing by.

BTW,
talking about ailments:
I sprained my left hand this morning when I slipped on an icey road. My Doc made me take sick leave until the weekend, and I can't play with my Nintendo as it hurts ;) :( But I have a large DVD back-log.
And on Monday I have a large dental procedure of at least 90 minutes. Some dental bridgework has to be replaced and I may lose a molar, but I still hope my dentist can save the tooth by a special treatment for the root. Outsch!!!:( :( I'm open for any dose of pixie dust, but compared to the stuff Roland's Mom is suffering from, I still can call myself lucky.
BTW,
Roland told me to thank everyone for the good wishes and prayers. He'll relay it to his Mom. And he promised me to visit the Boards soon. We're still hoping that they can join us in October.

Take care Eric and all the luck with your dental procedure. I know what you mean about the icy roads. While walking across a bank parking lot when scarlet was broken down I slipped on the black ice on the pavement. Good thing that my belly is large, as it makes a good bumper in order to keep my face from hitting the pavement.

They are calling for an inch or so of snow here tonight and tomorrow morning.

Chicken fingers from Pluto's Dog house on the magic:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Take care everyone. Mike

Puxatawny Phil was right that we are having 6 more weeks of winter. We are to have snow Thursday night into Friday.

Magic take me away.

Nancy

Eric ... Hope your paw and choppers get better soon! I can relate to the paw problem!

Big Dipper .... EH!

Nancy ... You were posting while I was typing! What do you think, should we "eliminate" Phil? No Phil, no shadow, no snow!

It's official ... I've started to gather and buy for the cruise. Last Saturday we went to a "cruise / travel show" and I got a really nice organizer purse/fanny pack. A real lot of room for ID cards, small camera, etc and can be worn or used in three different ways. I also got a real nice travel jewelry case with dividers to keep rings, earrings, chains, etc from being a tangled jumble. Of course when I went to the local AAA to see if I could get another fanny pack thingy, they were all sold out.

CSI is on TV tonight ... may be at the same time as the Michael Jackson interview ..... I may have to try and catch a few minutes of Michael to reinforce my idea that he needs help! I'm a little amazed at just how he can get people to jump and do things that are "just not right"! MARY. AVE, KATHY ... let me know what you think about his statement on "taking" his baby daughter home immediately (and I mean immediately) after her birth.

Oh well .... back to work

Cathy with @ C

HAVE A VERY MICKEY DAY! (You'all for the southerners)

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't been around, been busy with work and other stuff! Trying to work out reservations for our group for the cruise, I have the hotel for our night in Columbus and I think we will do Happy Limo to the port and then rent a car of one day just to get around while there. Wish that the Radisson would get some fall specials going so I could book the rooms.

Scott and I have decieded on doing another cruise in Septemeber, sort of a warm up to the cruistoberfest! Trying to rent out some of our DVC points so we can use fewer points and then pay cash. (DVC wants 270 points for the cruise but I can rent them out for $10point and just use 185, so I can save 85 points)

Pixie dust to all in need, HEAL! No time for sickness.

Take care
Dan

Hi, all!
I'm not even going to try to catch up individually. Just wanted to say..... Woohoo! Our bubbles arrived today! You can see them at www.orientaltrading.com and do a search for 'tropical fish bubbles'. I think they'll be nice. Since there's no label, I'm going to put our logo on them. Now, how to pack all those little bottles for the airplane! :-)

Better run.... I hear Becca waking up from her nap. Take care. Pixie dust to all who are sick and especially to Roland's mom. (See, I do read them, just don't always have time to answer!)

Colleen

Okay this thread has gone on long enough - 101 pages and over 1500 post.

I mean to say it has gone on too long without a moderator involved. Guess this means I will just have to come too. :D

(Matt's school schedule just came out - He is off Oct 13 and 14)

Now I just have to wait until my tax refund check comes in so I can pay this (the bad thing about using DVC point).

OH YAY!! The infamous List Mistress (now retired) is going to join our Cruisetoberfest!!!! LOL!
