that story about the German getting 600.000 bucks must be a hoax. Over here we don't have punitive damages and similar things. Even for a killed family member you wouldn't get so much dough.

no, we havent'n been to the Caymans, but I just ordered a guidebook from Amazon.de (The German branch). The Euro and the Dollar have been at par for the last 4-5 months and most experts believe that it will stay that way - hopefully.

that were exactly Anja's words (I need a vacation). It's such a long time until the cruise and she wants us to have a one- or two-week-trip in the spring. We think about going to the Mediterranean or doing a short trip to Singpore or South Africa in April or May.

I have loved reading this thread. I am like Mary, if I start reading then I get all depressed, but I can't help myself. Maybe this is a way to keep the funk away!!
We are looking forward to our next cruise on 10/11 and meeting you all again and the new people we haven't yet met.
Cathy and Kathy: William is VERY glad you are both into pin trading. He is getting some disneyland pins for you when we go next week. Wants to know what you are "into" He cracks me up with all his pin "lingo". We have to get our pins out every couple of weeks and have pin trading night at the house!! How pathetic is that?

Cathy, hope you received your game.

I had just gotten out of the habit of running and checking the computer every morning and now.....oh well, there are worse habits to have!!!

Hello everyone. It sure would be great if we could get the 59 dollar rate again next year at the radisson. That was incredibule!

There are worse addictions than checking your computer in the morning with these boards Elaine. Kathy and I are really looking forward to meeting everyone again and cruising. It is good to hear from Dave and Ellen again. Sorry that we didn't get to see you at the radisson Dave. Art and I looked for you, but we didn't have any luck. Mike

Well everyone, not to brag but we are getting ready to leave! I will be thinking of you guys everyday and thinking forward to next year!

By the way, mom's friend Jean is officailly joining us and we are booking 2 seperate rooms. They are booking a Cat 7 and we are thinking about just a Cat 11 across the hall from them.

Here's a thought ... maybe we can get her fixed up with Rich Jr, Rosemary's son and then they can continue on with the yearly cruise thing we have going!

Mike & Kathy ... maybe when I'm home with one hand I can check out the Baby Site and see if there is anything I can do for them.

Well, Mike - Thank you so kindly! I can't be Scott's Mom but I could be Dan's (if I was a child bride). But Dan just solved my problem. I was thinking how vacation without Tulirich is no fun anyway. So between now and Saturday I got to think of some devious plan to detain Poohnate and her friend and then Tulirich and I can take over their stateroom!

OK, how about this...if we can't talk DCL into letting us take over an indoor site, then we could all gather on Deck 9, near the Mickey Pool, 10 pm, on our first day at sea. (Monday the 13th?). I don't know about everyone else but if I'm going to be awake at 10 pm I will need a nap sometime that afternoon. Location, location.. this is close to beverage station, also Topsiders, for munchies, and Pinocchio's for those of us who wish to have a nightcap, or two. Also I noticed that the Mickey Pool Area is not very crowded late at night. So it would be Deck 9@10 on 13th. Something to think about.

Sounds great to me but isn't that formal night? Would the late seating diners have time for a relaxing dinner, change into some casual clothes (if they wanted to) and meet us? I've got main seating so it would work fine for me. The location at that time of night would be perfect. What does everyone else think??

P.S. Someone earlier posted only 51 weeks...that sounds so much closer than 351 days

We'll be on second seating and we're lucky if we get out by 10:30pm. It's usually more like 11pm.
Heck I figure if we link most of our reservations we'll be dining together anyway. Let's just take over a whole dining rotation. Then we'll have an indoor place together for 7 nights.

Ave, you are right about the Mickey Pool area being deserted later at night. You are also right about having to take a nap if we meet at 10 PM.

Art LHBO about the thought of a bunch of us ordering room service cheese plates for the food for a party.

On the DIS Cruisears I saw that there was one guy that seemed to book a conference room a lot. Wonder how it did that?

OR depending on how many of us there are - would the secret veranda on deck 7 be big enough?

The reunion booking is also an idea to toss around ... a lot of perks there.

No matter how we do it a seperate party only for us would be great cause we could then have more one on one time to really meet each other, get pictures, etc.

BTW - Mary & Ave ... We have to remember to bring or put some kind of silly price tags on our give-aways just to bust the Mouse!

Hi Cathy with a "C" this is Kathy with a "K" and everyone else.

We are so looking forward to the cruise next year! I am getting more and more excited.

Those two lucky guys! Dan and Scott, CRUISING! And on Halloween too! I bet that is a lot of fun.

I went on my two "visits" with a friend for "Nurses for Newborns" and loved it. I met some really nice people. Yep, I think I can do this too.

My friend who had chemotherapy has come back to work and I am making Berets (hats) out of fleece for her to wear. She said those wigs and scarfs just don't fit and these berets are so simple to make. She saw them in a book for 18.00 and I just knew I could make them for a LOT less and I have! They are so cute that I made Katie one and am going to make more. They are warm too.

All of yall take care and have a nice weekend. Mike and I are going to DD1 for a party this weekend and am looking forward to it. Kathy

William, I am not really "into" many things. I do like to sew, play with my granddaughter (That hobby is only 5 months old ) The pins I bought were Minnie in a nurse's outfit, the firefighter Mickey, Goofy dangling off the back of the ship, the Ship with the ears that looked like a night sky (Can get only on the boat) and Cathy bought Mike and me one that says "You're Special" Then of course we have the castaway pin. YOU, however have an impressive looking vest! Good looking too. It has to be heavy with all those pins on it. Is there anything in particular at the Disney Store here in Nashville that I can get for you? That is only sold here in Nashville? Let me know. Kathy
