PaDisneyFan(Nancy)..re: electric cars in KW. I spoke to a man at Key West Cruisers. He told me that unless we were going to need one at the END of the month, no reservations were needed for the 4 seater or 2 seater. (halloween is VERY busy for them). He said to call them when we get to the dock and they will meet us with the car. I guess then we have to go with them to do the paperwork??I have the phone #1-888-800-8802 in my little "cruise book" and we will call them when we dock. I might send DH to do this while I take the kids to the "check in" at the hilton, if it looks like we will be late.

I haven't posted because we got a new cat (2 years old) and my other cat is not liking this. I had two cats, but one died last November. Tabatha has been mopey and meowing so I thought I'd get her a friend so help her cope. Not sure if this was a good idea since all she's been doing is hissing and growling at Bam-Bam. I really hope this situation gets better, because he is a really nice and lovable cat and I do not want to have to bring him back there. Right now I am locked up in the computer room with Bam-Bam and Haley with each one trying to get my attention. Tabatha is out in the rest of the house. I thought she needed some by myself time.

no, the new one is a male. he is neutered and she is spayed. only time will tell. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Tried to post last night but our internet was really slow and I gave up.

Sorry if I didn't post about Jim. He is suffering from stress according to the doctor. He has to go back to see the cardiologist in November to find out ways of coping with it. He was supposed to see the cardiologist in October but we are going to be in Florida so November it is. Both his family doctor and the cardiologist said going on vacation was a good thing and he's supposed to see what triggers his dizzy spells and coughing fits. Jim's not very happy with the diagnosis but at least we get to go on vacation.

Mary -- love the questioning in the morning! I'll have to try it some morning that I'm not banging on the bathroom door trying to get him on the bus.

Finally let DS drive the van last night -- he wasn't too impressed because all I did was let him drive around the church parking lot across the street from our house twice. Wouldn't let him drive on the street or back the van out of the driveway. He thinks I'm being unfair but frankly I think this is scarier than rapelling down a 40 foot tower (which I've done and which is very scary for someone scared of heights).

Besides since we are driving the car to Florida we can't afford for him to get into an accident with the car for the next 13 days!

I'll take him again next week. Can't tonight as he goes to the amouries and then he's away for the weekend with the reserves so it will have to be next week.

Congrats to everyone who's received their documents.

We have enough of our handout for about 150 so hopefully that will be enough but if not we aren't doing any more.

Have to get back to work since I'm now behind after missing yesterday afternoon for Chris.

Thanks! I'm very excited, but it seems so, well, paled in comparison to my excitement over the cruise I really wanted to get it done beforehand and was very upset when time got too short to do it. But once I got over that, it was just an "oh well" when the approval letter came yesterday. I'll be excited when I get home and have a date I guess.

I hope I get my docs soon too. I'm getting very anxious for them. Not worried per se, because I know SueEllen is taking care of me but just anxious. I want to get them filled out and stored away with the rest of my planning stuff and everything. Just to check another item off my list.

SueEllen -- Hopefully you'll get power soon. We were out with the big blackout in August and boy was it awful. Got stuck up north because the gas stations couldn't pump gas. I'd do your laundry but you'd have to ship it north!

Back to work. Just keep telling myself it's only 9 work days left. Today is half over and I'm working a half day on the 8th.

Now if only stuff would stop landing on my desk!

Okay........since everyone has the documents and has started filling them out........I have one question......(possibly a dumb one ) On the Immigration Arrival/Departure Card for the Bahamas it says Visiting and three choices......I mark OTHER ISLAND, right?
