Hi Marilyn,

Hello Marilyn,

I have you down for the Scavenger Hunt in Key West. We should all have lots of fun doing it. Just the other day, I sent the Mickey Ears that they are going to hide for us.

Welcome!
Tina :)

Hopkins, Looking soooo forward to meeting you and chasing those Mickey ears. Our daughter, hopelea keeps us excited about this cruise. So glad you are planning our Key West party.

Welcome to Marilyn, Looking forward to meeting you and your DH. Is this your first Disney Cruise?
Papa, What's the latest on Kathy's sister? Are they going to release her? Or will she need therapy?
Oh well, back to work tomorrow.:(

WELCOME Marilyn! Glad to have you with us! We are going to be sailing on the Magic for the 4th time! YIPEE!

I went to see Seabiscuit today! GREAT MOVIE!

This weekend was way too short! Just a few weeks to go until school begins again. Then it is back to homework, PTA meetings, school projects ect,ect...

Bathroom remodel contiunes. All that remains is painting, hanging new cloest doors, and putting up the towel bars, light fixture, mirror. If DH has time during the week it will be done, if not it wiil be next weekend:(

Thanks to everyone who has sent a photo to Eric. The site is GREAT Eric. Thanks for all your hard work with the site and the list.

WELCOME MARILYN

I had a wonderful lazy Sunday. I spent the entire day, sitting on the patio reading Janet Evanovich "To the Nines". Finished the entire book and I could laugh out loud at all of Stephanie Plum's antics.

Now starting on James Patterson "Kiss the Girls" . I never got around to reading the beginning books in his Alex Cross series. So was able to pick up a few at the used book store.

I finally made my car reservations and reservations for CSR post cruise. I'm slowly getting things together for the cruise.

I am delaying doing things I need to do, by reading. So that way I don't think I am wasting time.

Eric--- sounds like you had a nice time with Jeff and Gaby.

Mike--- Glad Kathy's sister is doing well.

Tomorrow it is back to work. Why does the weekend go so fast?

Later,
Nancy

Welcome Marilyn. It's our first Disney cruise and we are very much looking forward to it.

Mary -- Glad you liked Seabiscuit -- it's on my to see movies but not sure when we'll get the chance.

Today was a strange weather day here. I was up early (thanks to Lily (the dog)) and it was warm and muggy out. I just let her back in and it starts to pour. It stops the rain comes out and it's really nice but by the time we leave for the Jays game (they won!!) it was raining again. We arrive downtown and they are in the process of opening up the Dome because it's sunny again!! It actually stayed sunny and got very warm which was very nice. Hoping for a nice week but we'll see.

DS was home for the weekend but we didn't have to drive him back as he got a ride with someone's else's Dad which was nice. I told him that some of you were preparing for school to start on August 7th and he looked shocked. He couldn't conceive of anyone being in school in August and thinks it's horrible! Here school always starts the Tuesday after Labour Day and that's bad enough in his books. He doesn't finish til almost the end of June though so he doesn't get more summer just different timing. He actually won't be home til August 24th or 26th (vague on the date but he promised to let me know!)

Told Jim today that he had to get a haircut and beard trim before next weekend. Otherwise he's the one that looks like a member of Zztop. :D I think because of the receding hairline he likes the fact that it's still growing in the back.

DS on the other hand is almost bald because he's cut his hair twice since he's been away -- he says that the military has a very different view of long hair. I don't think any hair on his head at this point is longer than 1/8th of an inch.

Must go and do some laundry and other chores -- weekends are too short and this week at work I think is going to be long and very, very busy. Good thing next weekend is a long one for us.

Take care and glad to hear that Kathy's sister seems to be doing ok. Please know that she's in our prayers.

Fiona

Ave, Kathy's sister is going to have another cat scan tomorrow. In a day or two they are moving her to another hospital to do her neurological rehabilitation.

Looking forward to Baltimore this weekend. Mike

OK, so it's been forever since I posted, sorry about that! We are still planning on being there. (my 18yr old son and I)

What's been going on in our lives? Just EVERYTHING. Boy, what a busy summer. I can't WAIT til the cruise. I just sent a very poor picture to be posted on the group web page, doesn't do Tony or I justice at all, but at least it's recognizable. I'll be calling to make our final payment on the cruise this week and we're all set. We were able to get my Frequent Flyer miles turned in so that we'll be going FIRST CLASS from Sea-Tac to Orlando International and have 3 days with the land Mouse before we head to sea. Tony and I will be doing 1 day at a water park and 1 day at Sea World. Otherwise, we'll just be relaxing until the cruise. We have NO IDEA what we'll be doing for our shore excursions yet. Any group things going on? He's very interested in bicycling and snorkling. I want to swim with the fishies! We also would like to know if we can bring our own bicycles. I better ask Sue Ellen, I guess.

Personal updates: Tony is a single young man now (he and the girlfriend split recently. Told him he'd have a bit more fun on the trip not worrying about the relationship waiting for him at home) so he'll be ready to party and meet all sorts of new folks. I am still however, happily married, so I'll watch him :-) I'm down a total of 164 pounds now and hope to have my 2nd plastic surgery to have all the rest of the loose skin removed before I go. I'll only be a couple of months post op on the trip, but It'll be well worth it to wear a size smaller and to get into this great formal I bought!

Anyhow, We're ready to go and look forward to seeing you all!

OK folks, starting some serious planning here. I need a packing list. Someone point me in the right direction please.

Also, does anyone know if I can bring my bicyle on board? For use on shore and such?

Hi Nancy,
Anja just called me -she has a day off today- and told me that your letter just arrived. I'll take the picture to the office tomorrow and scan it there.

Welcome back Tammy!
I've never heard of anyone taking a bike on board. You should call DCL. If you are not able to, there are bike rentals available at Castaway Cay.
Group meetings??? YES! We are doing a scavanger hunt in Key West (Hopkins has details) also may of us are booked with Capt. Marvins in Grand Cayman to see the StingRays.

Good morning all!

I am at a training class all. REally looking forward to the cruise. Hope everyone is doing good.

Take care
Dan
