Thanks for posting the directions. Didn't occur to me that they probably had them on their website!! Duh, it's been that kind of day -- the simpliest things are being difficult today.

Eric.....we are on your homepage...we are underneath "Relling Twin and family" and above Hopkins...we are the family that includes Snow White!!!! Actually, I am very computer challenged (and as Sarah would say, very electronically challenged!!) so GoofyNut scanned them for us and sent them to you!!! Mary Jo

OOOPS,
sorry MaryJo - I must have overlooked you :( I did it during lunchbreak at the office and had to hurry. You're now marked as "cruising" on my Masterlist.
Just one question: Will Snow White cruise with you? And if so: Will the Dwarfs stay in your stateroom?:jester:

For example, Art, my hubby is listed under "@GoofyNut" ... that way I figure we would be better able to relate to how we post. I know I have too many senior moments and can never keep all that straight. They are two sides and the size of our KTW and can easily be kept on the laynards.

Cathy, do you really need a name-tag to recognize Art:confused: I saw that he lost some weight, but nevertheless I recognized him on first sight :jester:

Fiona....don't know how far you and Jim want to travel but just to give you some idea....if you are travelling down I-81 through New York State and Pennsylvania, we live in Scranton which takes us approximately 3/3.5 hours to get to Baltimore (depending on traffic and road construction) and Binghamton, New York is one hour from us. There are lots of hotels off of I-81--there are lots of hotels around our area (Montage Mountain Road...Hampton, Comfort Suites, etc) and even if you continue down Route 81 towards Hazleton and Harrisburg, you will hit the same kind of hotels, etc. If memory serves me correct (and that is a big "IF", we are approximately 6.5 hours from Canada) to just give you some idea of distance. Have a safe trip and we can't wait to meet you both!! Mary Jo

Hello Viking, et allia!

Looks like a fun thread, and lots o' good planning going on. SSB hopes that you all have a blast!

SSB hopes to get back out there... one day soon. :)

Eric....Sam insists that Snow White cruise with us but the dwarfs are staying at home this time since I couldn't afford the airfare for the 11 of us!!! But if we ever travel to Germany, I will be sure to bring them with us....actually, we are thinking of Europe either next summer or the one after that...now that I know I have two native guides in Germany...Eric and SilentShot!!!

Thanks for the info Mary Jo -- that sounds about right in terms of time because when I looked on Mapquest it said that Baltimore was 9.5 hours from us. We will more than likely drive the I-81 down through New York and Penn. I say "we" although more than likely Jim will do most of the driving since I have a tendency to get in the car and fall asleep (not while driving though!!!!).

Eric -- One of the partners here is actually in Germany at the moment for a car race that's going on somewhere around Frankfurt? He actually has to fly to London and then home since all the flights out of Frankfurt were booked.

I think Mary (Rellingtwin) is doing the lanyards. I'm sure she will let us know.

MaryJo--- You will soon know everyone. Do you ever just stay home for a week?

Fionna-- I've done the drive to Tornoto several times. It is longer distance wise to stay on the interstate, but is fast than the shortcuts on 2 lane roads. Have a safe trip.

I'm out of here.

....I haven't heard anything from TNRobin for a long time, but she's still active on the boards..... but as she didn't post on our thread nor sent a pic IMHO she's in "inactive-mode" for the cruise ;) One small post, a picter sent to us or a mail - and she's active again.....
Well, I guess this has made it official. I was always suspect that no one reads my postings and now it has been confirmed. I posted not too long ago, within the last week, that at Friday night cruise chat on 7/18/03, I asked TNRobin if she was still going on our cruise and she told me no. .... you guys are just like my siblings and my mother....no one EVER listens to old Rosemary..... always got lost in the shuffle...... sniff, sniff, sniff. :(

Arlene - Sending you an email....

I will admit, I just skimmed through the postings just now. Was not really on over the weekend. Will have to go over ALL the posts (cuz I read everybody's) at a later date.

Did you guys hear the violins playing in the background during this post!?! :p

Jeff and I are still crusing guys, we just haven't been around much. The last 3 weeks have been a whirlwind. My stepfather (a wonderful man that has been a surrogate father since I was 12) lost his battle with ALS (or Lou Gherig's Disease) on the 4th of July. Then my own father got married a week later. So we were back up in NJ for almost 2 weeks dealing with all of that. When I got backt to work, one of ou civilian nurses quit, leaving us even more short handed. The house then got hit by lightening. My mom came to visit after she settled everything. Hubby, Mom and I then got sick with a pretty nasty cold. And work has continued to suck.
So as I now step off my soap box, Jeff and I are here and really do want to plan a DIS meet for those of us in Florida crusing with us up at Downtown Disney or something. We'll figure it out. Hubby is working on adding us to the cruise pictures soon!

Later taters

Jen - We'd love to meet you guys sometime before the cruise. You're actually not too far from us at all. We're pretty busy in August most weekend, but a couple of them we will actually be in Orlando. Let us know.

Alikat,
Hubby and I lived in Palm Harbor when we first got here, and a bunch of my friends live in St Pete. I love it over there, just not the traffic. We could, if everyone is able, have an Epcot meet and do Mission Space. That ride is probably the best thing since Tower went in!

We'll see

Sorry for the mulitple posts. :o I kept getting a "connection timed out" message so I thought the post was not going through.

OK guys,

I have just finished my ELO (Evening Learning Oppurtunities) better known as homework. Do you guys realize how long it has been since I have had that?

We can't wait to see everyone again and meet the new people.

Tulirose-I have never ignored anything you have said!

Viking- Chuck and Dean are still cruising, however they still believe the DIS is a cult! LOL I guess they are the smart ones.

papa- Pixie dust to your family

Relling Twin- Thanks for the lanyards-I remember you posting the pic many many hundred pages ago!

Colleen- We need to figure out about the buckeyes!

Thats all for now

Dan
