Hey, just heard that the obstructed rooms are not bad, am glad to hear that as we have one of those. Going to a Disney outlet store. Anyone have something they really need for the cruise? Be glad to try to pick it up for you.

It was actually our lawn that got hit, more specificaly, the electric box outside that the "low voltage systems" go thru. Whatever that means. It meant the alarm system, sprinkler system, fax machine and a few other things got fried.. plus made the dogs go harry carry.. that's what happens when you live in the lightening capital of the northern and western hemispheres (Tampa Bay- there's a place in Africa that gets more than we do, but not by much)

JenKatt - You certainly have had a lot going on. My sincere condolences on the loss of your wonderful stepdad.

Mike - Please make sure Kathy knows we have been thinking about you both and sending prayers and pixie dust for her sister. Hope she gets better every day in Rehab. Can't wait to see you guys on Saturday!

The Radisson Thread was very interesting. By the time I got to it, however, the manager had already been contacted and responded. I am not concerned about staying there at all.

Eric - You are doing such a great job on the Webpage. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for all the time and effort you have put into that and also for the cruise listings. Both add to the anticipation and excitment of our upcoming cruise.

So looking forward to meeting all attending the Baltimore meet in just five short days. Arlene - I sent you an email.

Jeff and Gaby - You guys look like such a happy couple. I must confess, I too wondered if SilentShot was a vivid figment of Viking's imagination... Glad to see he is made of real flesh and bones.

Sounds like the New Hampshire meet is getting organized. Hope you guys have a great time. That MaryJo and family certainly are getting around. And if I remember correctly, the Minnesotta faction will be meeting the weekend after our Baltimore meet. Hope you guys have a great time and be sure to post about it.

All this talk about the kids going back to school is now foreign to me! DS graduated H.S. last June so it no longer concerns us. However, we were also late June ending and Wednesday after Labor Day openings (sometimes even the Thursday after Labor Day). It was great for vacations, especially to Disney World in late August. Now we know why we always ran into Canadians on those trips.... Canadians, fellow NY'ers and Europeans.

Fiona - DH knew right away what you were talking about when you mentioned ZZtop and said that is a great group. I had/have no clue. Whether or not your DH gets a trim and a cut before Baltimore, it will be great meeting you both and Hopkins and Arlene and Andy and all the rest. I am very much looking forward to it.

Tammeb - Thanks for checking in. Congratulations and good luck with the final round of surgery needed to complete your weight loss accomplishment. (Did that sentence make sense?) Hope your son enjoys the cruise as a new "single" guy.

I guess Cheeseplease and Ellen will not make the Baltimore cruise.....

Cathy - Thanks for working so hard on those nametags. It will be neat to get the sneak preview of them at the Baltimore Meet. I know that has to be a lot of work for you to do. Thanks again for your dedication.

Had our first Yard Sale this weekend on Sunday. It was very spur of the moment even though this is something we have talked about doing for quite some time. It was also an experience, for sure. But I'm glad that it is over and we now have the garage back.

Also had two parties to attend on Saturday, feast or famine. We were quite busy all weekend. August should be an exciting month for us what with the Baltimore meet and the wedding/family reunion in Omaha, Nebraska!

Thanks to everyone for the prayers, well wishes and pixie dust. Deborah is doing well. She continues to try to use her right hand and leg and is keeping her spirits up. She went to a different hospital this afternoon in her own car, with her daughter driving, for rehab. Joy of joys, she got a bed with the trapeze (sp?) overhead and is exercising the heck out of her arms.

We were so bad (cutting up trying to keep her laughing)in the ER last Saturday that her nurse stuck his head in and told us that the people in the next room wanted whatever we were having. They had a sore foot from a bag of corn falling on it.

I am on pins and needles about this drive to Baltimore and am looking forward to meeting everyone. Mike has threatened to wear his bib overalls. (I don't think so)

Had fun here in the hospital tonight. I am working charge nurse tonight and had to run to the ER for a baby being born there and then had to run to the OR for a baby being born there. In both instances moms and babies are doing well. Their nurse will be recovering soon. I hate doing charge. I am the only RN here in the NICU tonight and so...tag, I'm it.

I don't care - as long as there's enough for Anja & me
We will know on 08/17/03. This is the deadline for being listed as "Cruising". But this doesn't mean that there is no way to join us afterwards. The deadline will only be used to clean up the List.
So far we have two cancellations only.

BTW,
as Ohio is the "strongest" state so far you can distribute the buckeye-orders on many shoulders.

We're going to bring some Schnapps from Germany. So far I have bought 50 mini-bottles.

Just one more thing I wanted to add. Today our class focus is STRESS management! So today at 4am I got a call that explained a "mission" that I had to complete by class time! 4am! Man these people are crazy-whats up with that?

Wow! You guys were busy posting the past week! I'm not caught up yet, but here goes.....

Kathy-- Prayers & pixie dust to your sister, although I haven't seen what happened yet, I'll get to it later. Sounds like she's doing a little better.

Josh and I had a great time at dinner with Amy, Chris and Emily! Emily is a little sweetheart. What nice, fun people we are cruising with.... we'll have a blast! So glad we got to meet them.

Amy--- Remember to send Bettemom your cruise reservation number so she can link you to our table.

Cathy-- Are you & Art still driving to Florida and willing to tote the bubbles for me? I'll get to work on them soon.

What I do is take the first names of everyone from Eric's list and use the same DIS name for the entire group UNLESS you tell me differently. (You can tell me if you want a different DIS name or no DIS name at all.

Hope - as an example, I'm using "Hopelea" for all 6 of the people in your group. I'm guessing Michael is your hubby!

Every group that is listred as "active" on Eric's list gets a "name tag" that way you have a souvenior if nothing else.

Just thought of something ... we're better than Disney cause a lot of the Cruisetoberfesters give out OMG free stuff. Just got some stuff for the kids yesterday from Oriental Trader. Art said you'd swear it was a Christmas Present the way I torn into the box!

I'm just guessing that the Sail-A-Way Party is again on the top deck by the Goofy Pool? That way we can set up our "gift shop"
on either a lounger or one of those flat wooden storage boxes. Do you think we need to have stickers that say "Not For RESALE!" (Inside joke for past cruisers)
