Thanks for all the good wishes concerning our flight - It obviously helped as Isabel has moved out of our way. I called Delta last night and they confirmed that there are no delays or diversions planned for our flight. But we pity all the poor people who lost their houses or were injured or killed

The only consolation is, that it could have bee much worse. That storm looked really nasty a week ago
Lisa (& Jeff),
I haven't heard of these shirts neither. But on the Römer Square, the historic marketplace and center of Frankfurt, there are a couple of souvenirshops selling embroidered sweatshirts with nice German motifs and you could surely have an additional name embroidered on it. But be careful with the sizes: A German Large is usually a bit smaller than an American. Better go for X-Large then.
I I had known that earlier, I could have gotten one: Just this afternoon after work I was there. I got home by train today, because I left our car in my company's garage and did some shopping when I switched trains downtown.
Jeff, here's how to find that shop:
When you enter the Römer Square from Braubachstrasse (The street with the tram driving through) pass the Römer-building and after the first sidestreet to the right there is a pub and about 10 meters after the pub you'll find that shop.
Those Brauhaus shirts look like bogus to me, but who cares?
We started packing at 3pm with a short break for dinner and now (9pm) we're finished. Early tomorrow we will be picked up by a friend, who owns a large van and is so kind to take us to the airport.
